I cannot support Jerry. I am only hoping he does something different this off-season. But crossing my fingers has not worked in the past. I doubt it will work now.

Dallas beat up on inferior teams and lost to playoff teams during the regular season; got steamrolled at home by the #7th seeded GB in Wild Card game. Dallas only scored when GB substituted their players.

Dak puts up stats, but is ineffective in big games against better defenses.

There is no consistent running game with 3/5ths of the line playing with injuries or one season removed from surgery; DL gets gashed by the run and defense has no physical LBs.

When Jerry pays Dak another huge contract Dallas won’t be able to attract or retain talented players.

MM is in last year of contract without an extension and who knows who the new DC will be…I’m sure it will be a scintillating pick.

But yes Jerry…the Cowboys are close!
