Why is Noah Brown masquerading as an NFL WR?

I won't even bring up the fact that he has pictures of Booger....and looks to now have pictures of Dak....or the fact that he should have been churned off this roster 3-4 years ago....or the fact that BAD THINGS HAPPEN when he is on the field. Someone about three (3) weeks ago here made the astute observation that he always seems to fall down after catching the ball...a few minutes ago they replayed yesterdays pick 6 on First Fake and I noticed that Brown falls backward on his butt FOR NO APPARENT REASON....so had the DB whiffed on the pick, the catch would have been meaningless. Never mind the sucking....does this guy have some kind of chemical imbalance....or is he simply trying to imitate Foster Brooks after watching some old Dean Martin special? The only way this WR corp has a chance Monday, is if this guy is deactivated so there is a ZERO chance of him getting on the field. I realize that he is only one of about a dozen other issues, but this issue can easily be nipped in the bud....Hilton and/or a second TE, needs to see 100% of his snaps.
he is the 4th or 5th option on a team and is forced to be #3, because we had 20M on the cap and Jones boys decided not to give Wilson who was coming to his own in Dallas with Dak and the rest of the WRs a 7M contract. instead they went with James washington for 1M and hey, that's 6M right into the bottom line and pockets of the Jones boys, so that makes me happy

I for one think Brown has been good for us this year. I don't get it. Not like the team uses him as a #1 or #2 guy. He's probably going to be our #4 WR in the playoffs and a good STs guy
Thats right. He supposed to be 4 or 3 at best. Forcing him into 1 is not his fault.

Hes made some big plays for us....shouldnt be forcing it. Maybe a cover for still-injured gallup?

It’s funny, but earlier in the season everyone was saying Noah Brown was the teams biggest surprise. Fans were giving him a lot of props. Surprised no one is jumping all over TY Hilton, who only had two catches and had at least a couple of drops. He looked like a jag yesterday. The Cowboys have no one else to blame but themselves for their WR situation. Amari Cooper put up 105 yards against Washington 2 weeks ago. We traded away our best receiver for a 5th round pick who put up almost 1200 yards and 9 TDs this season in Cleveland with a bad QB situation.

But a 7 year vet cant do the same?
Brown only had one TD catch with Cooper Rush. Brown had a season high six receptions with two TDs against Jacksonville with Dak at QB. The only reason he did well with Cooper Rush was because Michael Gallup was out. Brown was our number 2 receiver until Gallup came back. Once Gallup returned it limited Noah Brown’s production. He then began dropping balls which also limited his production. You can’t blame Dak for some of the problems Brown had hanging onto the ball. There’s a reason Brown never got many opportunities at receiver until this season.

Why letting Cooper go was one of the bigger mistakes the Cowboys have made recently.

I don't understand why every crucial sequence he goes to Noah. Noah is a great ST player. Nice blocker. But his game severely drops when asked to become a consistent pass catcher
Try telling them that

....and we got a bag of potato chips for Amari to hold onto. Stale potato chips, at this point.
but, but, but,....we freed up money to sign both our 3rd and 4th rounders in 2025 to multi year deals.

This one's easy. Browns already been the preferred scapegoat along with Moore.

Hilton was the salve that the Dak Davidians claimed would heal the offense because now Dak would "finally" have another weapon other than Lamb.

So TY is getting a pass for now. Brown is still the red headed stepchild. Until he's gone

Hilton will be next in the barrel. He just needs to wait his turn but trust me, his time is coming

As long as #4 is under center his minions will keep finding scapegoats

He's a JAG and should have been churned off the roster. He's serviceable, but bottom of the roster, low ceiling, the exact kind of player that gets churned for someone with more upside, potential and development.
As Emmitt would say....."zactly"

Noah Brown was never a quality receiver which is why he never got many opportunities at receiver until this season. He makes the team every year because of special teams. For what Brown is he’s done well this season, much better than most fans expected. As the games have gotten bigger and more important his flaws have shown. If Dak ends up with a 1-4 playoff record after next week, which is likely and his game continues down the same troubling path next season the Cowboys will probably be looking for another QB after the 2024 season.
