Why is Noah Brown masquerading as an NFL WR?

Our receives rank #32 in separation.

We have Lamb, the corpse of TY Hilton, and not much else.

I am extremely disappointed in Gallup but I’m hoping we can chalk this poor season up to his injury and he’ll be better next year. Either way, the team completely botched the position and it will force us to spend a high draft pick on a WR next year.
the corpse of TY Hilton............o_O

I won't even bring up the fact that he has pictures of Booger....and looks to now have pictures of Dak....or the fact that he should have been churned off this roster 3-4 years ago....or the fact that BAD THINGS HAPPEN when he is on the field. Someone about three (3) weeks ago here made the astute observation that he always seems to fall down after catching the ball...a few minutes ago they replayed yesterdays pick 6 on First Fake and I noticed that Brown falls backward on his butt FOR NO APPARENT REASON....so had the DB whiffed on the pick, the catch would have been meaningless. Never mind the sucking....does this guy have some kind of chemical imbalance....or is he simply trying to imitate Foster Brooks after watching some old Dean Martin special? The only way this WR corp has a chance Monday, is if this guy is deactivated so there is a ZERO chance of him getting on the field. I realize that he is only one of about a dozen other issues, but this issue can easily be nipped in the bud....Hilton and/or a second TE, needs to see 100% of his snaps.
hes a solid role player/special teams player. IT happened last year during the whiners playoff game. We were trying to use role players to make plays for us during that game instead of using our Star guys. were tried getting the ball more to Shultz and Wilson than Cooper and Lamb.

He really is. He had some AWESOME plays at tOSU...but nagging injuries and DEEP WR room hampered him.
He actually has one of the best TD plays in NCAA...the "behind the back" play is brutal!
But he was and never will be...#1.
Does not mean he sucks. These guys need to #cancelhate.

He is barely a #4.

Never trust a WR that keeps looking at his hands and unable to stay on his feet.

Agree but I hope it is just because he hasn't settled into the team yet... not comfortable catching balls from Dak. TY has great hands and we will need him on Monday night.
Hope you are right!
He looked so good before this game it was surprising to see him under perform.

I love his story
If everyone put in the work he has they’d be better players
He worked very hard doing grunt work to get his shot and he’s made the most of it
He put a high draft pick on the bench and a FA in the street lol
That made for TV movie has to have an ending.

The question should be: why did the owners trade our #1 WR for next to nothing when we didn't have any depth at the position? Lamb has done a really good job as #1, but for most of the season we didn't have a serviceable #2. None of them are getting any separation, and Dak has to thread the needle on pretty much every throw.

Why?
He’s cheap depth who is a really good ST player and has shown more ability as a WR than our draft pick has
He should be a top 3 WR but he was never suppose to be. But because Washington was injured and Tolbert has been a huge disappointment he was forced to play and he’s played pretty solid

Once Dak as a target he fixates on him for long stretches.

Gallup, and if he cant get right they need to cut the cord... he is not the same player at all. Brown should not be your intended target on must have plays, thats just the facts.

Because of this post you made. I had a tear or two reading it. That's the movie I'm anticipating. We talking Noah Brown or several guys in the NFL? My bad.

Brown should converted to TE. He is a much better blocker than Schultz and faster with better hands. Brown can easily put on the extra weight.

Well he would be cheaper the Schultz. The problem is Schultz is taller and bigger and runs good routes and the biggest thing is Schultz has better hands then Brown. Brown started off really good this year as our number 2, but he never ever had the talent of a number 2.

Our TE's are way more worthless that Brown. Noah would benefit by running TE routes rather than #1 WR routes.

I'm not sure who it was but I WILL find out...a TE blocking on a run play standing at the line of scrimmage...literally just STANDING there empty handed. I wanted to smash his face in.

He looked boss with Rush at QB.
Define "a boss". He looks exactly the same with both. Unreliable, shows very minimal flashes. His best game with Rush looks about the same as his best game with Dak. He had a pretty good 3 games with Rush and then 2 terrible games.

But lets compare Ceedee Lamb with Rush vs Dak. HUGE difference. Never had a 100yd game with Rush. Has about 5 with Dak. That's the guy we drafted to go off and he is under Dak.

Spares like Noah Brown are a backup QB's favorite because the defense pays no attention to them and Cooper can dump the ball off to him, racking up the catches. But doesn't affect the game. Cooper Rush had this offense at the very bottom in almost every category.
