Why is Noah Brown masquerading as an NFL WR?

He is pretty much your ideal #4 WR, as a tough STer who is good for 10 catches a season.

But playing your #4 receiver as your #2 is like starting your #4 tackle at RT. It is less visible, because a WR getting beaten just doesn't show up on your TV, but it's the same kind of liability.
Yep. Why do idiots blame Noah for coaching mismanagement?

He's a JAG and should have been churned off the roster. He's serviceable, but bottom of the roster, low ceiling, the exact kind of player that gets churned for someone with more upside, potential and development.
Bottom of the roster is where he was expected to be but Washington got hurt and Tolbert didn’t show up
I’m much more concerned with Tolbert than brown. Brown is giving his best

He really is. He had some AWESOME plays at tOSU...but nagging injuries and DEEP WR room hampered him.

He actually has one of the best TD plays in NCAA...the "behind the back" play is brutal!

But he was and never will be...#1.

Does not mean he sucks. These guys need to #cancelhate.

Noah Brown is an okay #4 who can block and make the occasional play to keep a drive going.

Michael Gallup is and was before his injury a decent #3 who could catch 2-3 passes per game and make 4-5 spectacular plays per season.

Ceedee Lamb was a young, immature #2 who could make big plays but dropped too many balls and gave up on routes when covered.

We have tried to stretch each of them a notch above what they were. Only Ceedee Lamb has been successful. In my opinion, even when fully healthy, Gallup will never be even an average #2. He is a number 3 at best. Fehoko and Tolbert have been nothing so far.

I for one think Brown has been good for us this year. I don't get it. Not like the team uses him as a #1 or #2 guy. He's probably going to be our #4 WR in the playoffs and a good STs guy
Yea, I agree.
I don't really get all the grief he gets. It's not like he was a top 10 pick in the draft, and it's not his fault the QB is throwing the ball to him. He also isn't responsible for the composition of the roster.

I love his story
If everyone put in the work he has they’d be better players
He worked very hard doing grunt work to get his shot and he’s made the most of it
He put a high draft pick on the bench and a FA in the street lol

I won't even bring up the fact that he has pictures of Booger....and looks to now have pictures of Dak....or the fact that he should have been churned off this roster 3-4 years ago....or the fact that BAD THINGS HAPPEN when he is on the field. Someone about three (3) weeks ago here made the astute observation that he always seems to fall down after catching the ball...a few minutes ago they replayed yesterdays pick 6 on First Fake and I noticed that Brown falls backward on his butt FOR NO APPARENT REASON....so had the DB whiffed on the pick, the catch would have been meaningless. Never mind the sucking....does this guy have some kind of chemical imbalance....or is he simply trying to imitate Foster Brooks after watching some old Dean Martin special? The only way this WR corp has a chance Monday, is if this guy is deactivated so there is a ZERO chance of him getting on the field. I realize that he is only one of about a dozen other issues, but this issue can easily be nipped in the bud....Hilton and/or a second TE, needs to see 100% of his snaps.
It is a mystery. They have loved the guy for years.

Gallup is still not back completely, he is not getting any separation from Cbs . We need to move Hilton to #2 position and have him get more reps, he is much experienced and will know how to release from CBs .

I wouldn’t mind have a few plays for Turpin on go routes atleast to get some PI or get pressure off from man blocking . but primarily experienced defenses ( Todd Bowles is one good defensive coach) confuse Dak with complex zone schemes and our OC - Moore‘s schemes are slow developing

Special teamer who was producing like a legitimate #2 to start the season, all for a million.

With Hilton, Gallup, and Lamb available, Brown shouldn't be in on passing downs, but probably worth still playing on run/pass downs.

Worst WR Corp in the playoffs. There’s not much after Lamb. And at TE Schultz is a backup on half the NFL offenses in this league. FO has done some good things but have botched WR this year…

T Y was a huge disappointment yesterday.
He had 2 passes hit him in the hands and dropped both.
You got Lamb and a bunch of scrubs at WR.
CORRECT, John!

And so many wonder why Dak leads the league in interceptions and has struggled at times. Dak has no weapons other than CeeDee. I seriously doubt the top QBs in the league would fare much better with this scrub of receivers and an Oline that ranks 29th out of 32 in pass block win rate.
