Why is Terence Steele still starting?

Broderick Jones should be ready to replace him after our ten day layoff. I mean, why trade for BJ if you're not going to see what he brings to the table.
Honestly I think Jones is a longer term play by them. They will probably give him a cheap one year extention and start him next year

As far as this year, the biggest question is when is he at full strength? If he is at full strength, he is a better player than Steele

hell nah, next week..im opver thatt dude..hes cha green adjacent.. f that bring jones in again the bucs

This is entering Chaz Green territory. No one can start over him? I'm flabbergasted at how bad he looks at times, like he doesn't belong on any team, let alone as a starter.

OTOH Guyton starting to look consistent and like a genuine starting LT in the NFL. I appreciate how much he worked his way up from looking terrible when he was drafted until now.
Even his runblocking hasn't been good this season. He's toast.

Can we have him split snaps with Jones for the next few weeks to see who wins the starting job? We’ve done that in the past with struggling OL.

If you look around the league, many teams struggle at the position and they are hard to acquire cause of the need. They added Jones, hopefully at some point they start giving him a few series to see if he can upgrade the position.

Why we trade a third rd pick for a guy who can’t beat out our worse OL

His knee injury was a long time ago....it is no longer an excuse.
he never looked terrible when he was healthy
He got too big.

I don't how much is weight room bulk and how much is bad weight but he is visibly much much bigger than his rookie season.

It's weird that he still plays special teams as a blocker on field goals.

The Texans pass rushers are really good.

Also many of the pressures were due to coverage, especially in the first half.

Steele really hasn't been the team's biggest problem.

Here’s what concerns me about Steele, other than that he was never all that good to begin with…

His coach told him his job is in question to someone who they traded a premium pick for, yet he gets no better.

He has his money, and that’s that. They paid the wrong guy, yet again. They had an actual out, but decided to double down. Yeah the Cowboys won today somehow, but they remain a monumentally dumb front office.

IMO, the sack was more on Dak's poor pocket movement and the G/C than on Steele

Steele moved his guy wide. Dak turned right into them.

Dak couldn't really step forward b/c the G/C had been pushed back as well.

it was just poorly played by several guys
