Why Is The Media/fans Hating On Us For Not Blowing Out The Vikes???

I just read JFE article on how unimpressive we are and that we should have had Minnesota bagged and tagged at half. I see the same thing from fans wondering why we are struggling??

6-1 is struggling???

I hear Minnesota is crap with a high school QB. Didnt they just beat the Bears in Chicago? So I guess Chicago sucks now, but they just beat the Eagles. Thus, the Eagles must suck now. Nice to know that we can just roll our helmets out there at the Link in 2 weeks.

The other gem is that we almost got beat by Buffalo. Didnt Buffalo just beat the Ravens yesterday? The Ravens are considered a pretty decent team last time I checked. Didnt the Broncos kick a FG as time expired to beat Buffalo? So I guess Denver sucks too since they didnt blow out the Bills.

But wait, didnt the sucky Broncos who just got pasted by the Chargers beat the Steelers. Man, I guess the Steelers suck now. The Chargers also lost to Green Bay, who must suck because they barely beat Minnesota, but Green Bay beat the G-men, so I guess the G-men suck now. The G-men beat the Skins, so I guess the Skins suck now.

Damn, nice to know most of the NFL sucks. Should be a cake walk to Arizona for us

I watched a reporter for ESPN pick the Giants over the Cowboys. I think the pick has to do with Manning being a media darling and the Cowboys' 10-year record in the playoffs.

I also hated the love that the network showed the Pats, who play in a weak division. Other than the Pats, no other team may finish above .500.

Isnt it funny how nobody ever brings up "who have they beat?" line with the Pats, but Dallas is routinly criticized?

I don't know about the unimpressive part, but we should have bagged and tagged the Vikes in the first half. Some think we did.

to be honest with you, I don't feel as strongly about the team as I did prior to Buffalo. We have not played good football in 3 weeks. The BYE comes at a great time. The Giants game will be very telling about who the best in the NFC is.

It's not always who you beat. Any team can win on any day. It's how you beat them. They are scoring over thirty a game and winning by seventeen minimum(I think) a game. That's impressive.

exactly and we were blessed to win at Buffalo, got pounded by NE, and it took a special teams play to finally get going against the Vikings. Yeah, they have a good defense but if we're supposedly the best in the NFC, we haven't looked like it the past 3 weeks. Hopefully we play better after the bye.

i dont know most of thse espn guys arent that smart , just following the trend the others say before them, have trouble creating orginal responses. cowboy hate is the "in " thing it seems. If we had blown out the patriots and were still undefeated they would have 10 excuses as to why it happend and as to how indy and the pats are still leaps and bounds ahead of us. most of those guys played when the cowboys were good and were not on the cowboys , cant think of any rational explination

Since it's so obvious who's going to win (since it's the Super Bowl and all, as you said) because regular season games are one thing, and SBs all together another, why do they play the game? Just give the Lombardi trophy to the best team 'on paper'.
