Overuse of emoticons doesn't mask the fact that you suck at debating any of the ignorant points you constantly bring up with absolutely nothing to back them up.

And yeah, in a battle of wits versus me, you're a little emptyhanded.

Better than empty headed I guess.

I guess the Patriots didn't get that memo until this year, since they won all three of their Super Bowls by a field goal.

It doesn't matter if you win by 1 point or 72. A win is a win.

Isnt it funny how nobody ever brings up "who have they beat?" line with the Pats, but Dallas is routinly criticized?

Well I think that partially hinges on a few things.

1) N.E. has had unrivaled success over the last 6 or so years
So you are arguing against a team that is full of players who have already proven they are capable of playing at an elite level consistantly. A team like us, currently, is surrounded by the image of the late season collapses, the bobbled snaps, etc.

2) Unlike us, who have gotten some unreasonable criticism, New England hasn't even really had a close call this season.. ( I guess the game vs us is as close as its gotten for them). They've beaten everyone pretty badly. We narrowly escaped with a win in Buffalo, and got beaten by N.E.

3) Weak division or not, they probably will go no worse than 5-1 in that division. No matter how you slice it, a division record like that deserves some credit, even if it is against a bunch of hacks. Even in 1995, we suffered a loss to a much worse Washington team.

You can hate N.E. all you want, which I do, but they are currently the best team in Football. Better offense than Indy for sure. And honestly, would you really pick Indy's D over New England's if it came down to it?

If we had blown out the Vikes, the reaction to our win would have been totally different. Our offense hasn't looked that good in 3 weeks, but it's because penalties & other mistakes (2 fumbles) are killing us. Also think other teams taking away our intermediate game (and long game not here w/o Glenn) limits Romo's options. Hopefully Romo gets healthy and somehow TO, Witten & Crayton, etc. able to get open against the Eagles so we can once again enjoy our high octane offense.

I hear Minnesota is crap with a high school QB. Didnt they just beat the Bears in Chicago? So I guess Chicago sucks now, but they just beat the Eagles. Thus, the Eagles must suck now.

All true in in there lies the answer.

For me it was a win and I don't know of any bad wins. 6-1 and there are many around the NFL who would love to be sitting where we are at. People need to get over this crud about not blowing some team out the object is to win games.

It's always a double standard against Dallas . While I do embrace the hatred , it gets to be ridiculous at times . In nearly every poll I saw prior to the Monday night game , Jacksonville was ranked above Dallas . Well let's see , Dallas has lost one game to the New England Patriots who are on a record breaking pace , while the Jags had lost one game to the freaking Tennessee Titans . People said Dallas hadn't played anybody , well prior to Indy. last night the Jags had played Tennessee , Atlanta , Bye , K.C. , and Houston . Wow , that's tough . The Cowboys QB has completed 150 passes for 16 TDs , while their little QB has completed 98 passes for 6 TDS . The Jacksonville defense that everybody says is the heart and sould of their team ranked 13th in the league while our little D ranked 7th . The Jags smash mouth offense ranked 14th in the league while the Cowboys struggling offense ranked 2nd . Yet every poll I saw still ranked the Jags above the Cowboys .

I watched a reporter for ESPN pick the Giants over the Cowboys. I think the pick has to do with Manning being a media darling and the Cowboys' 10-year record in the playoffs.

I also hated the love that the network showed the Pats, who play in a weak division. Other than the Pats, no other team may finish above .500.

The combined record of all AFC East teams other than the Patriots is 3-17. Yea, they've got a lot of competition to get to the playoffs this year. What a joke. In the NFC East, we're 6-1, N.Y. is 5-2, and Washington is 4-2. Yet, the media hates on us. It's simply because we are the NFL. We've always been the NFL. I've lived with that fact for 45 years. In actuality, it's a compliment, though many of the mediots don't even realize this simple fact.

It's not always who you beat. Any team can win on any day. It's how you beat them. They are scoring over thirty a game and winning by seventeen minimum(I think) a game. That's impressive.

Get over it. There's a good article on DallasCowboys.com today. It basically says that there's no need to apologize for 6-1. It also talks about the 1992 team that won the Super Bowl. Read it and remember how we won some of the games that year. We barely squeaked by several awful teams during the course of the year. We lost to a bad Rams team, we gave a game away to a very average Washington team, we got absolutely killed by the Eagles early in the year. We beat a 4-12 Cardinal team 16-10, we beat a 6-10 Giants team by 6, etc. The Patriots are on an unprecedented roll, yet they've only won one more game that we have. This isn't college ball. You dont' get extra points or votes by margin of victory. You win and keep rolling up the wins. At the end of the year you're awarded with a playoff berth and hopefully homefield advantage. Just enjoy the record, the week off, and the fact that we're going to get some players back (Henry, Johnson, and hopefully Glenn) and others are going to continue to get healthy (Ellis, Newman, etc.).

Especially considering we won by 10. I think only 3 (maybe 4) teams won by 10 or more this past week.

People have to realize we're not going to blow out every team we play. It just ain't gonna happen. Many of our fans got spoiled by our early blowouts against the Rams, Dolphins, etc. Not gonna happen every week, especially now that we're getting into a rough part of our schedule. Just win baby!!!!! Right now, I see us finishing 13-3 or 12-4 unless injuries pile up. I think we win all of our remaining home games and at least one of the road games with N.Y. and Philly. I also see us winning at least two of our last three road games with Detroit, Washington, and Carolina. 12-4 will get us homefield throughout the playoffs most likley and 13-3 will definitely do it.

Minnesota's 3 other loses were by a total of 13 points. They have one of the better defenses in the league and we did move the ball up and down the field on them for much of the day. It could have been prettier, but I was glad to see our team step up in ways they haven't in the past.

The idea is to perpetuate the myth that the Patriots are the most dominant team ever to make people forget the cheating they were doing prior to this season.

The problem is, the Cowboys are the national draw for every network, and they draw more attention than the 'glorious' Patriots. So the media has to hate on them and perpetuate nonsense that they aren't in the same league as the Patriots..

I don't know the Pats are playing outstanding football week in and week out and personally given how they are playing and the big numbers being put up by Brady the Pats deserve the lime light they are getting right now. As for the Cowboys we are a less experianced team who I don't think is playing our best football as of yet. As they say you want to hit your stride late in the season and I think it will be hard for the Pats to maintain their high level of play.

Ive noticed a disturbing trend happening this year around the NFL's media and fan base and it has to do with style points.

A team used to be judged based on what there record was and that determined who was elite. Now its based more on point differential, whos schedule is slightly harder than anothers...

This isnt the BCS where the goal is to blow people out for style points. Seems some people are looking at it that way.

I don't have to get over anything. My comments were on why the Patsy's are getting so much media love. Had nothing to do with the Boys. Most Fans and media types want to see more scoring in every sport. The NHL has changed some rules to enhance scoring. The NFL has made it tougher to be a defender, hmmmm wonder why.

People like scoring. How boring is a 3-6 football game? Unless you really, really like defense. For the boys, a win is a win. I'm happy with the Ws.
Would I like to see some aspects of our game be better? You bet. Who wouldn't? What I would like to get better may not bother some. I have read things here that others think need to get better that doesn't bother me.

Such is life.
