Why it's good Philly and Washington are in the NFC Championship Game!

Dallas is constrained for years to come by doling out huge contracts to Dak, Cee Dee and soon…Micah.
Jerry doesn’t really care about the success of Washington and Philadelphia; so long as people continue to talk about the Cowboys, positively or negatively, that is all Jerry wants.
Even if Jerry did care about the success of these two teams, he lacks the knowledge, competency and staff to make the required changes…does anybody really think that the new HC is going to come in and change the existing culture?
Jerry’s hire will be someone underwhelming who will continue with the status quo. If Jerry didn’t make changes after the embarrassing shellacking the Cowboys received in the GB playoff debacle…nothing will effect change.

This should tell Jerry it’s time to make big changes!
We have not made an NFC Championship game in almost 30 years BUT 2 teams from our division make the NFC Championship game this year, after having losing records the year before!!!!

Change can happen quickly if an organization makes good decisions. This includes, picking the right coaches and coordinators, drafting well, good trades, smart Free Agent moves, and smart salaries (Not over paying a mediocre QB who consistently losses to good defenses).

We need to start with Deion and 2 smart coordinators!
We get two players in the top 44. Philly and Washington only get 1.

You almost had it all correct. Dak is not an average QB. He is much better than that. But I do agree on not overpaying ANY QB.

I'd rather have a vet like Carroll and two stud coordinators. He old and experienced enough to brush off Jerrah and do it his way. It would be his last job and would laugh off Jerry. Wouldn't care who got the credit
Retreads and mediocrity. Staples of the usual diet craved by Cowboy fans.

Excuses. Philly makes it work, Buffalo makes it work, Baltimore makes it work. Other good teams find a way to get impact players signed. Jerry and Co are just idiots or lying sacks of doo doo.
Those teams have dedicated GM's who know the NFL and have a vision for their teams construction. We don't.

The increasing gravity of frequently losing spectacularly over time may cause this blue star to implode into a black hole.

2024 might go down as one of the worst seasons as a Cowboys fan in the new century.
Our former offensive coordinator and our former defensive coordinator are playing in the NFC championship game.
We fired our HC and no good self-respected HC will take this job.
Jerry Jones is still firmly in control of the Cowboys with his son 2nd in command.
Our QB is a mid range QB with an over the top salary.
Did I miss anything?

Restating what has already been said but shirley you know by now winning is not JJ's first priority. If winning his way fails, he just falls back on moral victories and Forbes rankings

Coaching, mistakes, killed all the losing teams they lost because they made mistakes

I was born in the Philly region. I sometimes really wish I never watched a cowboys game when I was younger, my adult sports life would be a lot more fun lol. I’m also a sixers fan which is basically cowboys light LOL.

Jerry will not make big changes. he might make some token moves to make the team perhaps slightly better, but his top goal is not winning championships. his goal is money money money money. so he will not make the necessary sacrifices to make a big enough change for us to get over the hump. he is not jealous enough to step down as GM.

every decision is tied to some kind of money move.

Bc of Dak's contract and the one Micah is about to get, a significant , franchise changing makeover isn't possible. And even if it was possible, Jerry doesn't have the expertise or capacity to execute it.
bull crap. Goff's contract is only 5M less than Dak. Hurts contract is 7M less. over all Philly top 6 contract is 193M. dallas top 6 is 153M..... yet they were able to sign FA, extend players and hand a large contract to their QB.

you are just repeating a Joneses mantra of we don't have cap, because of your bias against Dak....the contract is not the issue when everyone else is doing it.

and this is not a defense of Dak to say he deserved the contract, just that the contract is not the problem. Jerry and stephen are.

so your very last statement is the key to all of this

This, after 30 years and failure, you would think he would say, maybe it’s me time to turn the reins over to someone else and let me step back. But no let me continue to try to stuff this round hole into the squad peg, dang gum I am going to make it fit one way or another.
why? why should he do things differently? why give somebody else control? his priority is not to win championships. his priority is to be just relevant enough. because being relevant enough is more valuable in media than a winner or total loser. being just relevant enough gets the fans and those against riled up and you got everyone talking about you. being just relevant enough gets the yay sayers and nay sayers juices flowing. and all of that means more money to jerry, which is his primary goal. when he says, and talks about Coaches dead money, coming form the most profitable organization in NFL. the most valued. that is all you need to know about jerry

The only thing that will change Jerry is if the teams popularity and value starts dropping. As of now, they are still the most valuable franchise in sports. That's all Jerry cares about. Of course he wants to win, but not enough to make the necessary changes to do so.

Our one young player with an upward star trajectory may have had a career ending injury in a meaningless game.

Screw Jerry and Stephen!

They can find the money to make the team better they just refuse to.

This isn’t changing until the echo chamber Jerry lives in starts to ring loudly about the mistakes he’s making…

When the radio and media (that he’s clearly bought) start to criticize and point out the mistakes without the kid gloves…they start hammering that he just ain’t the guy…even then, he’ll do like he did this season and threaten to fire everybody anyway smh
