Why Micah is a concern

We will pay him the kings ransom and by mid season his play will drop off and will not be a game changer when we need him to be… he really needs to be on a pitch count as they say in baseball to conserve his energy
I'm not sure that is him getting tired. Teams start to figure eachother out by mid season. When you're having trouble stopping the run, the sacks come to an end.

I TOTALLY agree, just seems like this way with all these players, have a great contract year to get the bag, get the bag and they're not the same player, I guess the hunger isn't there anymore since they got what they wanted!!!!!

You're paying 40+ million for a pitch count pass rusher, he shouldn't ask for that much if he's going to be on a pitch count

Of course he is getting tired.

The guy is not in shape. And he doesnt get it how to rush and protect himself. Just watch him letting himself get destroyed by combined TE and RB blocks. Nobody will endure that if you open yourself up that way.

The guy is just stupid. But unfortunatley not only from an general intelligence standpoint. Also his behaviour as a football player lacks a lot of wisdom. He was able to dominate by pure athleticism in college and high school. Now he cant do that anymore on a constant basis. But he has no clue what to change in his approach. Just watch his first games and now his games after 4 years in the NFL. He basically does the same crap he did in his first game.

Also he likes to be on a-social media instead of working on his endurance. Guy needs attention and the feeling of being liked. He has psychological problems.

WRONG Wrong and wrong this is the worst post of the month..

Of those three, Prescott isn't even in the same league.
WRONG Wrong and wrong this ius no lamb without Daks 2023 MVP season lmao anther troller type dak hater cant see any further from your NOSE!! Why don't you confirm this by asking his teammates his coaching Staffs you know privately so you don't say they're just saying it in public and you'll find out after you have a black eye by calling out Prescott they're gonna tell you he's one of the best quarterbacks in the league still at worst he's top ten he's had too many 5 finishes for the haters to get past it but it's all or nothing there is no land without Prescott vice versa their teammates.. Prescott's resume says he's a top quarterback in the league so a hater can step aside with the nonsense he is in that same league he may be getting older and on his way out but he is a starter a franchise quarter about to set every record in the Dallas Cowboys passing records he's already top three he's heading to number 2 and he could end up having all of them even in the NFL he has records like he's top 6 and touchdown interception ratio the man has a ridiculous good record like more than double the wins and losses and when he's healthy he's never actually started and finished the season on a team that's had a losing record you might wanna try again and I don't wanna hear the nonsense because you'll probably be on ignore within about 15 minutes because there's about four of you in here including the OP that are so off base you don't get it you're clueless but keep up the bad narratives...

I mentioned last year with regards to the top three on this team

I would have traded Micah for picks, resigned Lamb and let Dak test free agency
no it's all or nothing you blow it all up or you keep all three that's what's happening and that's exactly what a professional GM would do you had to make that decision once they signed lamb Prescott was coming back you can't have one without the other it starts with the quarterback and then you fill in around them teams have been searching for quarterbacks for decades and I'm not saying you're wrong they either needed to blow it up and trade everyone all three of those guys should have been let go in a trade and you move on from Trayvon diggs and tank last year if you really wanted to tear this down you do something similar to what San Francisco it seems crazy 'cause it came out of nowhere but once you sign one the rest are just gonna fall right in place it's a natural order of things you just don't sign 1 to a mega contractor to leave him with nothing around him and that would be lamb...

We've had these discussions too much over the last five years but given all the exhaustive discussions we had leading up to both those contracts being signed last year you should got it figured out by now it would be ridiculous just to give lamb a giant contract and then let his quarter walk and the quarterback of the defense is for better or worse Parsons so you can't just break some of it down just go all in or all out that's the problem here they need to be a little bit more aggressive as a front office you kept these guys you have a small window now because all not that young and just go for it but don't blame the players by nitpicking which one should stay and go it's either they all go or they all stay..

I'm working with the assumption he has the endurance. Even players without the endurance, young athletes don't carry over being tired from last week. If they don't have the endurance, it will show on game day. So if you're right, there's nothing much else to say.

WRONG Wrong and wrong this ius no lamb without Daks 2023 MVP season
Dak Prescott did not have an MVP season in 2023. Prescott had a runner-up MVP season by finishing with 152 votes to the actual 2023 MVP's 493 votes, Lamar Jackson.

Emmitt Smith remains the franchise's last league most valuable player. Smith was recognized over peers such as Steve Young, Jerry Rice, John Elway, and even his teammate Troy Aikman.

NFL MVP's receive the most votes from the Associated Press. 493 > 152.

He is too small to be a full time DE.
We will regret the contract.
It will not age well.
He should be traded, but this front office would never do something so out of the box.

Micah is not the problem. But like every other player on the field, no one can do it on their own. Micah needs a supporting cast, or at least one other pass rush threat to take some of the attention away from Micah. If Sam Williams can generate anything for a pass rush, Micah will be fine. Of course if you scrutinize Micah every single play, you are going to find what you are looking for, as you would if you scrutinized any player under a microscope like that.

The only problem I have with Micah is actually with Jerry. Had Jerry signed Micah right away, he would probably be on board for something in the area of $35 million. But Jerry likes to drag his feet until the price is at its peak before he signs his players. Now I am concerned Jerry will pay Micah a salary that will far exceed his, or any player's, ability to achieve. This is how Jerry operates.

Micah is not worth more than Myles Garrett. That is a fact. But Dak is not worth more than every other QB in the league either. If Jerry pays Micah $40 million or more, he will constantly be compared to Garrett and every other edge player in the league and he will never measure up.

The problem is, Jerry has already screwed this up and it will not end well.

So you say you dont see it on game day?

No offense but you dont watch him enough then. He does 2 to max. 3 plays and then checks out for the next 5 because he is so gased. If used like a starter and not like a rotational guy usually after 30 minutes he is done.

over the course of the season you can literally watch his decline after week 6 or 7.

the reason for that is lack of endurance and lack of knowledge of how to approach the game. the guy has to go full speed on every down. He doesnt know how to be a force by using only 80% of his power and speed. And as i already wrote there is not a small sign of development in that area.

That is also the reason why he disapears in the playoffs. Usually great players dont need to play 100% during the regular season to get great results. The play at 60 or 70%. When playoffs come that is one reason why you see great players being able to Dominator. They just have enough resources left.

In comparison DFlaw was on the other end of the extreme. The guy was very smart. He did exactly nothing for 3 drives. Then put everything he had in 2 run stops. Everybody celebrated him while he sat on the bench enjoying the spotlight.

Dint misunderstand me. Parsons is a very good player who just lacks the brain to be great. I like him. Just not for the contract he will demand. Trade him. There will be a team that will offer a great value in picks for him.

I don't need a history lesson on what the MVP is or who was our last MVP we've had some bias here even woody should be in the Hall of Fame and he's not yet we all know what's and deserves it but voting has a tendency to change things...

I do NOT Care if you recognize it or not..

I say he had an MVP season much like we know Lamar Jackson should have been the MVP this year it happens people get robbed the second team MVP has the word MVP in it literally an MVP seed nobody said he was the MVP I said he had an MVP type season... The irony here is Lamar Jackson should have got it this year but because he got it when he should not have in my opinion it was close but you give it to Prescott in 2023 you give it to Lamar Jackson in 2024 we wouldn't be having this conversation but that's how voting goes I say he should have got the MVP at quarterback if you wanted to take away from the quarterback fine you could've gave it to somebody else..

You can revise history to your liking but it is not changed to something it is not if you represent it falsely.
