Why Micah is a concern

IMO it's more of a coaching problem than anything else. He's being used incorrectly and should not be a full time "DE" due to size.

Hes one of the best defensive players in the league and teams must scheme to his whereabouts. Obviously he breakss down late season when he's worn out going against bigger players. Coaching staff needs to move him around

Would like him to step up in the run stopping game though. It almost seems like when teams scheme the run game to his side he's a screen door in a tornado. Becoming to one dimensional

Who was the player that said the fans are the problem.

No I am not saying that, before you all get in an uproar.

I say that because it seems fans do have a problem with him, more so over his podcast and what he says than anything. I can't disagree either. But some stuff is hilarious at fans responses as well.

I do not care about all of that. I care about on the field.
Yes, he tires out at the end of the season. He does not come up big all that often when needed. Or, are some of that fans and media expectations are too high.

I would have no issues getting a lot of draft picks for him. As he alone will not put this defense over the top. As they did nothing to improve the defense dramatically for this season. Unless the get very lucky in the draft, and some 2nd and 3rd years players make tremendous leaps.
However, I am also fine if they keep him. As I said, those other players may be much better this year.
My sentiments exactly

or when you make it easy for teams to know where he's coming from and you keep him there rushing from the same spot
....yep, and when to send him and when he's used bluffing double coverage. He's as useful schemed as a distraction, giving space to the other rushers (rush as a team) My issue with Micah, is that he has the tendency to rush at all costs, he/we need to be more selective, especially as he can get caught out in RPO situations.

You’re insane!!! You can have every guy we signed this off season. Campbell, Shepley, Fouler, Sanders. Williams, Turner, Thomas, Jones, and Samborn!!!! I’ll take Micah.

Want to compare it to last years draft? You take Guyton, Beebee, Kneeland, Liafiu, Carson, Flournoy, Roger’s, and Thomas. I’ll take Micah.

This conversation shows the level of your football intelligence!!! Tell cousin Steven all of us in the normal world say hi…
Well, if I'm insane, then there are actual NFL players saying, trade the fool. You can take little Micah where ever you want to go.

Your little dig at the end tells me all I need to know about you.

Oh, just talked to cousin Steven, he agrees with me, get rid of the fool.

Micah Parsons has had 8 solo tackles, 10 assists and 1.0 sack in 4 games in the playoffs in his career.

And this guy deserves 40 million or 37 million or 35 million per year?

Maybe you “need to watch” more football?
He is one of two players in history to record 12 or more sacks in his first 4 years in the NFL, and the only 1 if you discount Reggie White since he played in another league before joining the NFL. You just going to discount that?

To dismiss Parson's regular season accomplishments to me is pretty ridiculous.

The "Let's trade him for 2 or 3 first round picks because he sucks, even though we want 3 first round picks for him" crowd are not serious football fans.

I suggest Micah haters go back to the 2020 season and review that Cowboys defense. 10 INTs and 31 sacks. The Following year, Micah's rookie year they have 41 sacks and 26 INTs. Micah had 13 sacks, he also had 20 TFL, and 30 QB hits. His impact on the defense is immeasurable.

Going backwards proves nothing, going forward is the goal and he has not live up to those backward numbers. Stop living in the past. And once he gets paid, it will get even worse. He is after his bag and his little tweet machine.

He doesn’t show up in big games and contending teams are able to neutralize him, making him a non factor. He’s not a leader and fans have become put off with him. He’s not worth the money!

You guys are full of crap. So blind you want to get rid of a generational talent. I didn’t know there were so many Nico Harrison’s

Of course, let's not look at his past performance, let's just assume because he does a pod cast he sucks and does nothing for the team. His stats are the same every year. Even last year he played only 12 games and had 12 sacks.

Is anyone serious on this board anymore?

Well, you are right on one point. He only played in 12 games, a sack a game and he wants to get tons of money. I don't get the love fest for the man child that some do.

Are you blind to see that we’re having the same problems on defense with him that we were having before he arrived? The worst games our defense played last season he was on the field. We actually played some of our better defensive games when he was out. No way is he worth being the highest paid non QB. We could sign 3 solid players for what it will take to re-sign him.

Finally, a good response that makes football sense and, not one that is simply based on emotions with zero football knowledge. Thank you!

The ten other players on the field and the crap gameplan and scheme had nothing to do with it? Damn, I thought you were one of the more knowledgeable guys on here. Oh well...

My emotions say, get rid of the kid, his left one has not dropped yet, it seems.
