Why no trick plays?

Trick plays would not have made a difference in the Giants game. The offensive line had trouble blocking as is in the second half, so I would not expect them to block any better for any trick plays that may take longer to set up.

I like trick plays, but to me they aren't that important to see run. I thought it became very predictable when Parcells would run a trick play. You could see them coming.

What you didn´t like those "snap the ball over Romo's head" plays? We had everyone fooled with those...

They replayed the NE vs Rams Superbowl yesterday, caught some of it. Brady did this trick play where he fakes like it's a high snap, but it's actually a direct snap to the RB. He sold it pretty well.

Trick plays are great if you know how and when to run them. You never know when they're gonna bite on it.

I don't recall any flea-flickers this year at all. There were about 3 of them the year before though. Didn't we do some reverses or was that pre-season?

Trick plays are good atleast once per game so the defense has something extra to worry about & keeps them on their toes. Especially if it was effective...

we really don't have any one fast enough to pull off these plays rather them be huge losses i'd say they save them. A better RB would help and a Faster WR would also help

I don't think we were performing at a particularly high level the last four games or so.

Yeah... we couldnt execute our regular offense down the stretch... so trick plays would have probably been worse.... oh... and... we couldnt catch the ball in the playoffs :bang2:
