Why No Vernon Hargreaves III Talk

We can all agree that cornerback is a big need for this team, but why aren't we talking about the top corner (maybe Ramsey if he plays corner)? We could trade back and grab and extra 2nd and maybe a 3rd and still get a great corner... and we could really use the extra picks. Why isn't there much talk about him? You could trade back to 8 and take him before the Bucs do.

Not big or fast enough to be elite in my eyes. Love his footwork and short area quickness, but I think he could struggle over the top with bigger, faster NFL WR's. In a trade back scenario? Sure I'd take him, but he's still not 1 of the top guys I'd target in that hypothetical situation.

I would take him in a trade back. I think we can comfortably trade back with the knowledge that we can get a Hargreaves, Elliott, Lawson, Rankins type talent and add some picks. Hopefully we have a trade partner. This is assuming Ramsey is taken by SD. If not he is ours at 4 and yes Ramsey is better than Hargreaves. Ramsey is all over the field, Blitzing, Covering, Deflecting passes, moving around to different positions depending on the situation. He can be a cover corner, A FS, A SS, In the box SS/LB hybrid, blocking kicks, returning kicks, he can do it all. I should add he is a great tackler even taking on blocks from much larger blockers and can strip the ball.

Ramsey is our pick at 4 if he is there. IMO!

I have a feeling he will be taken at 3 and I wouldn't hate Tunsil, but I don't see us picking him.

They're actually a possible trade partner, but yeah, many have Hargreaves going there.
I saw McShay's latest having Tenn trade up to 9 and TB still get Hargreaves at 15.

Well 2 of our top 3 cb's are in the last year of their contract. I guess we could wait till they are gone to replace them

If mo has a good year then he will probably be too expensive and no way Carr is extended. not at 4 but if a quality CB is there it would be smart to take him, I would take one at 4 if there was a CB rated that high but there isn't
