Because cornerback is not a big need for this team, despite what everyone thinks.

My biggest problem with taking a corner in the first is that we would essentially be doing it to replace a corner already on the roster.

IMO, if we draft Ramsey or Hargreaves, we cut Carr. Now, it's a good possibility that either would be an upgrade, but I see it as spinning our wheels.

It's luxury pick when we have other areas to address where the cupboard is bare.

I actually think Hargreaves is the pick if the Ramsey goes #3 and we can't find a trade partner.

We all know the Cowboys don't value RBs that much, and I have to believe our front office wouldn't try to replace two DEs suspended for drug use with another DE who has been suspended for drug use.

ramsey to me is a safety that can play corner. I rather keep him at safety and hope for a ED reed/ earl thomas like player.

Very true.

CB will, however, be a need next spring, I imagine. One of either Carr or Claiborne is unlikely to be re-signed. We'll need another cornerback as Scandrick will be getting older and we'll likely have a talent gap at that position should one of the two not get an extension, or worse - both end up leaving for new jobs.

I'm hoping than Terrence Mitchell and Olatoye are "young Scandricks."
