so you are shifting to Romo now ? No one said romo was elite , but heck , most coaches would pick him when healthy over dak . He was way more talented at reading defenses and making difficult throws. Sometimes risky of course. But with dak , he is so easy to defend against and has cost many coaches their job with his inconsistencies and constant blame of others .
Now that his injury has limited his running , dak is regressing every year. You just watch next season ...

Even if Dak takes a step back this year, we can't afford to cut him. As of right now, he carries 108M of dead cap space. So, he's not going anywhere for a long time. If he doesn't work out, we have to draft a cheap QB. No way we can pay Mayfield and Dak.

i cannot think of a single game where dak was the difference in a win for the cowboys . The same for MM by the way . Coaching decisions and the QB can be the difference .

dalton never got a fair chance , and how has dak worked out ? remember when Dalton took over Dak had already gotten dallas into a losing record , many people forget the cowboys were already like 2-3 with dak. I would argue dak escaped scrutiny due to the injury . that season was already when dalton took over.
