Why not JGarrett for HC?

The fly in your ointment is that Payton was previously asst HC with us, while Lovie was DC with St Louis. Garrett has been coordinator nowhere. I like the guy; bring him in as QB coach or OC this year, but HC? Are you betting against Dallas with the sports book next year? Just curious.

Nope, although that might be easy money these days.
I just don't have a high regard for the way coaches are hired these days and figure Garrett deserves an opportunity as much as any of these before mentioned names.

I'm extremely excited that Jason Garret learned under a guy who couldn't cut it in the NFL and bolted back to the college ranks.

You know, I think Garret knows the game extremely well, and can coach up Romo. I also think he might have some good ideas on offense. But we would definately need a good DC

I know Saban wanted him as Alabama's OC. I don't like Saban but that means something if he thought that highly of him.

I just really hope Parcells isn't going for the "yes man" situation again. We've been down that road, please let's not do that again, if that's the case.
