Why not re-sign T-Will?

Yes, he drops one every now and then due to body catching, but he and Dak had chemistry this season and he can stretch the field. If he will sign a reasonable WR #2 contract, I would keep him. Don't need to create another draft need if we don't have to.

I agree, I think I'd rather have TWill than Butler. I know TWill makes me yell when a ball hits him in the hands and the chest and drops it but he has more positive than negative plays. I think it's important to resign him.

The problem is that T Will will get paid like a number 1 receiver from teams who dont have one ( Saints, Seahawks, Rams, Cardinals, Lions etc.)

There will be other WRs in FA that may take the same amount or less and be just as good. I am really interested in seeing the market for Jackson. He might set the tone to what TWill can get.

Sign him to a reasonable deal and were good. We can win a Super Bowl with the WR corp we have. Allowing TWill to just walk creates a hole that will need filled. I'd rather spend our off season resources on upgrading the defense specifically the pass rush and secondary. We clearly can't win a Super Bowl with what we have now on defense.

I'd love to still have him next season, but not at the #2 spot. IMO, we can do better there.

Williams is nothing special. The Cowboys have decisions to make when it comes to contracts and the cap - you can't keep everyone. I'm more interested in keeping the offensive line together and improving the defense than I am in keeping T-Will.

The game film on Brice should give you the answer.....TWill should return.....Brice may remain, but he ain't a #2. TWill makes more positive plays than Brice....hands down.

WR is one of the easier spots to fill in free agency... There's always a ton of guys out there.

Robert Woods of Buffalo could be a decent pickup.

i agree we should look into FA, i dont know about your pick but i wont stomp on it either. We just need a capable speedster. T will is solid but no one fears him.

I'm just throwing names out there... Just the point being there will be plenty of WR's available and I wouldn't hitch my wagon to an over-priced Williams just because he was on the team.

Twill needs to go. You can easily get a #2 that is a much better WR than this guy for the same money. Twill is a #4 receiver, not a #2.

The only plus with Twill is he never misses a game. That's about it.

Cowboys staff should clean out his locker and put his stuff in garbage bag and deliver it to his house.

A fitting farewell to a #5 receiver.

I agree. But we can't use draft capital on a WR. If we can re-sign TWill somewhere around 5yr 20 mil, 8 guar I'm on board with the OP. His trajectory for a huge signing (ala what Tavon Austin received) fell mightily this season. He's a solid WR. But if he wants 40m, he needs to look elsewhere.

I will be irate (and we all should be) if we use premium draft capital on a WR. (As an aside, Michael.)
