One year $5-6M and a chance at T-Will job. No ones mentioned it but other than Beasley, he appears to have the best chemistry with Dak. Why not bring him back as 2nd WRs and demote T-Will. Heck, the guy is big, tall, excellent speed and snatch catches with his hands. Yes I know he drops a few and may have some maturity issues but nothing not correctable. Bottom line......demote T-Will, give Switzer more playing time ( no way a team can shut down he AND Beasley for an entire game) may solve our WR issues.

Other words, the answers may already be on the team............

Question is, does Butler WANT to stay in Dallas in a limited role?

He will be 28 next season, so he will likely be looking to go somewhere and get snaps.

I like Butler, he’s always open. But, he’s too inconsistent and injured to be a #2

That my point, maybe all he needs is for someone to take his talent serious and give him a chance......

Butler is fine but I’m not paying him anything other than minimum because I think there are plenty of butlers out there ready to take his place. Same with twill.

5 mill is a little too much. It's hard to say what this team will do. Butler was the only guy we had that could stretch the field.

Oh, boy. He made a couple of catches yesterday against a rag-tag defense and now we need to re-sign him.

Butler sucks, bros. Move on. Get some damn talent at WR. Dez, Williams and Butler all need to go. We can keep the Lollipop Guild if only for the comedy.

True but will those plenties be able to establish same chemistry with Dak. At least with Butler we know what we have........

Not about yesterday but he and Dak seem to have a chemistry that reminds me of Romo and Laurent Robinson.

If Butler were actually so much better than TWill, I think he'd have TWill's job by now don't you?

I hate TWill as much as you can hate a man, but does anyone really believe Brice Butler is so much better? I suspect that if you kept throwing at Butler, he'd just be another TWill. Maybe a tad better. Certainly not worthy of 6m a year.

These guys ain't special. Just toss em and find a new TWill/Brice Butler at prices commensurate with their ability.

I'm not against him.....but if you are drafting a guy this year....the receiving core is looking cluttered. With no real speed on it. But even then...this offense doesn't require or take advantage of speed so I don't even know....if its 5-6 million then I'm moving on. Butler didn't do anything this year to warrant that. I like the guy though and I'd prefer him to T-Will and Beasley and just retool the receivers but not seeing that happen.

He seems to be a Garrett scapegoat, heard of running a bad or poor route mid-season which resulted in a Dak Int........and he was put on ice for 8 weeks
but doesnt seem that rule applies to Dez or TWill..........the rest of the squad sits back and watches that kind of crap

OK the $5-6 is too high but what his market is $1,2 or 3M, bring him back and demote T-Will. BTB did a piece last week comparing WRs production from top 2017 free agents and top 2017 draft picks. With the exception of 2, NONE produced at a high level. My point is yes I'd target one 2nd or 3rd but again Butler goes into 2018 #2. That way if I have to move from Dez after 2018 .........

I wouldn't mind him back at the right price. I'd rather have him on the field than Twill.
