I think coordinators will dare us to do this, and I think they will be well justified in stacking the box and taking out Felix and company.

Teams will force Romo to win games with our average receiving core, and average to below average pass protection.

This is also what I see. We'll see a lot of 8 men in the box this year. That said, I still have to be faithful that the season will provide some level of pleasantry because not watching my Boys is not an option.

since when is kr returning more dangerous?

the biggest improvement will be from shoring up the oline

Field position plays a huge role. I would much rather start on the 35 than the 20.

I think we're going to draft a shifty WR type in the middle rounds. A Dante Hall type that might make it as a slot receiver but can take over the KR duties... I see less of Felix back there returning kicks this year.

Deon Butler

Exactly the type of WR we need. Now before you go all Skylar Green on me, Butler can actually play WR. He has great hands and tremendous speed (4th overall 40 in the combine, unofficial 4.26). The good thing is, he has only played a WR for 4 years (recruited as a CB) and is still getting better. He can fill the PR/KR roll as well. If you are looking for a Terry Glenn/Santana Moss type, Butler is the guy.

Projected round: 4-5

Yes, I am the official Deon Butler pimp.

Meh....I just don't know about that height. He is listed at 5'7" which is a wee-bit short if you ask me. he has good skills though.

I thikn the pressure is squarely on Garrett's shoulders this year. Everyone knows the offense went backwards last season after a great 2007 season. There is no question that a healthy Jones has a impact on offense. What I would really like to see is [Felix Jones] solely being used as a RB and not a return guy.

I truly disagree. He can be electrifying on kick returns, so why not play him there? Please don't use the "why risk him to injury" argument because this is football; players play - period! We already know we don't have to solely rely on Felix Jones as Barber's backup because Tashard Choice can spell him some too. And that is precisely why Dallas has a legitimate opportunity to play felix Jones in the return game.
