And preseason games are a huge deal for those trying to make the roster. And a huge deal to the coaching staff.

Sooooo, we agree, same thing.

It’s not the same thing as non district games but I’d agree preseason games are a big deal to those trying to make the roster but that wasn’t my argument.

Was reading up on another team and their coach came right out and said he was viewing scrimmages as more important/valued than preseason game.

Lions coach said it was better because they could control all the variables. Physical but without full tackling.
