Why Roger “Bad-ell” is the worst

The NFL rules and their enforcement have become harder to understand and harder to enforce under Roger’s tenure.
  • Worst of all, Bad-ell represents only the owners and their greedy interests, not what’s best for the game. NBA commissioner Adam Silver is revered by both NBA owners AND players because he often sides with players on certain issues and is willing to issue orders that handcuff owners so the game can be cleaner, safer, and more conducive to fans and players- not just a bunch of billionaires.
This list could go on and on. I just get really queasy in the stomach every time I see this spineless, incompetent boob, who makes around $40 million a year for the garbage he throws out there.

I respected former commissioners Pete Rozelle and mostly respected Paul Tagliabue. They were giants compared to this completely hapless clown the NFL owners now prop up to do their bidding.

So viewership #’s are down and you only attribute that to Goodell? These billionaire owners put up lots of CASH to play this game, they certainly should be represented by someone. The players representatives are the Union heads. Greedy interests, you do realize that they give more away then the total of all of the players combined don’t you. How is that Greedy?

Reports are that Satan is ready to negotiate a contract with Goodell giving him a "very nice warm" spot in Hades. Length of contract is eternity.

Satan said, "Nobody in the history of the NFL has ever done as much to earn this little spot in paradise as Goodell has."
 
The probability of the NFL ceasing to exist was ZERO. With Goodell that probability is not ZERO. That is truly amazing. Guy is a cancer on the game.
 
Any one person whom is given THAT MUCH MONEY,POWER, CLOUT is doomed to make a ton of mistakes and become corrupt. Its the Human condition. Its all just too much really. You need balance. Right now the NFL is far from that. Hes outta control and its the owners fault.

But you hit the nail on the head with your last sentence. “ the NFL owners prop to do their bidding”.

Which means your issue is with the owners not Goodell. He’s simply carrying out their wishes. Which the owners are more than pleased since he’s taking the heat instead of them.

For me, it was shocking to see how many owners sided with Goodell over Jerry when they had their spat last year.

One guy (Jerry) has made them all richer, while the other guy (Goodell) has had one hit and done nothing but cost them since.

I was shocked he was reupped in the first place, I agree the money may be flowing in but the product has deteriorated, he taken football out of football, at this rate it will be arena football in 10yrs....

My issue is with both. Owners and commish. They are responsible for making the game’s rules harder to understand and enforce, harder on the fans to afford tickets, and harder on the safety of the players, which is the real product of the league.

Indeed they should be since they not only hired him, they gave him a contract extension.

It's not like Goodell has gone rogue and is going against the wishes of his employers. He's doing their bidding.

NFL owners are grateful for people spreading the idea that it's all Goodell and not the owners that hired and extended him.
