Cowboys/Moore gave Jets pretty good scare and team continues to fight hard. Meanwhile draft position is secured for another week. Chargers have winnable game against Miami and Lions have winnable game against NO.

Maybe the defense, but the offense was pretty much waiving the white flag up until the point that Cassel was pulled. They all but gave up on the guy and were settling in for another loss before halftime.

Well let's see the draft was in May this year and will be the last weekend of April next year so there's that.

Second if you are going to ignore the very essence of building a team in the NFL can I suggest taking an interest in the draft.

How in the world do you think we won three Super Bowls in the 90's?

I loved and enjoyed all 5 Super Bowls we won and my "give a crap" habits have never changed and never inhibited the team's ability to reach that goal.

I want to see them win the next 2 with Moore at the helm.

Should make for an interesting offseason discussion in regards to the coaching staff.

Now that we are officially eliminated, we should just clear the bench and play everybody.........winning accomplishes nothing now

This mindset baffles me.

I guess fans can hope for better draft position. But if the team takes a loser mentality, then all hope truly is lost.

That attitude spreads like a cancer. Future winning will never occur when teams "tank".

There's a reason teams like the Cardinals were perinnial door mats. There was a losing culture that came from years of their management wanting higher picks or wanting to save money

Bro, I hate to break the news to you but there is very little difference between 4 wins and 6 wins when it comes to a "building a winning culture"...........that ship has sailed, hit a reef, and sunk to the bottom of the sea.

Only difference between 4 wins and 6 wins is draft order.................if any fan cant see that, I cant help them.

Anybody who thinks a loss is good should never again post or cry about JG or the team coaching or playing not to lose rather then playing to win. You lost that card posting something like this. And the OP has commented on JG coaching scared on plenty occasions. As have alot of other posters here.

I could have sworn I read that this team has quit on Garrett at least a dozen times this last week.

Watch the replay - you'll see plenty of individual players quit on plays constantly. Dez, Wilcox at the forefront. Carr does it too. So do Beasley and McFadden.

Anyone who thinks this team shows notable "fight" simply lives in a cocoon.

Moore got the team moving, keep him starting and maybe he becomes the back up Cassell is history

Moore stinks and will never start a meaningful game in the NFL.

He was just new stink which was welcome after the abomination that was Matt Cassel.

It's not a good loss because I don't like losing regardless of our situation. However, it's an acceptable loss for the time being because you know what? It screws the Steelers over and I'm all for that.

Why did they keep saying that Jets don't control their own destiny? They were in the 6th seed before they beat us. .....if they win out then wouldn't they keep the 6th seed regardless what other teams do?

I def. dont see any point in tryin to beat Buffalo.. (other than the petty satisfaction of continuing to OWN the Bills lol) But it will be hard not to get hyped for the Skins game, to try and keep them from winnin the division.....but then again to me that depends......if beatin them helps the sheagles win the division than Id rather lose......anybody but the stinkin sheagles!! Die, Eagles Die!!

Id rather have Wash win the division than anyone else

One of the first Cowboy losses that didn't hurt at all. There is no reason to win any of these games. I'm not actively rooting for a loss but it doesn't phase me right now when it does. Seeing we are playing our 4th different QB. It's inevitable.

That's me..........I am not rooting for losses and I was high fiving my brother when Bailey banked in the FG, but I am not going to lose any sleep over the loss tonight. These games are basically preseason games right now, so no need to get upset over a loss. This is the time to play some younger guys like Moore and see what you have for next season.

Evaluation is more important than winning right now................plus having a top 5 is pretty sweet as well, not going to lie.

The SEASON is over. All that matters is the draft.

Ya know, it's like choosing whether to get kicked in the balls or get kicked in the face, but I'd probably prefer Washington win the division as well.

Plus, I have a decent reason for that. I made a bet with an Eagles fan here at work on whether the Eagles or Cowboys would win the division. If the Eagles win it, I have to drive around with a massive Eagles decal on my car for a couple weeks. That is not something I really want any part of.

Of course, if it happens, I may just end up borrowing my wife's car a lot. :)
