It's not so much the scheme that ails this Cowboys Defense, folks. It was everything posted above, and the tape proved it.

PS: Dan Quinn is as much responsible for creating a Defense with quicker but lighter, smaller, hybrid type of players who struggle or get overwhelmed by bigger and more aggressive Offenses like the Bills, 49ers, Eagles, etc.

Of course the defense is going to get gashed when they are on the field after three and outs all the time...what do you expect.

You do realize the Cowboys only had one 3 and out, short drive by the time Buffalo was up 21-3.

You can blame the offense for not scoring more points but the putrid run defense had nothing to do with short offensive drives.

Not many teams can survive 21 first half points, completely by the run game.
