Like the post here. You have to be able adjust during the game which clearly will not occur with Dan Q. The obvious lay out is stop the run. We run and for the love of all that is sacred just block the dam guy lined up in front of you.

Tell us why the Eagles don't count as one of the "better teams" without sounding like a total dolt.

I dare you.

Ok junior, the Eagles D has been atrocious lately. Can you post anything without being a total ***.

You got yourself on ignore? Or you just fail to read your ragers before hitting post?

Calls a stranger on a message board a big mouth name caller, and then proceeds to call them very dumb … I’d be hella shocked if your home doesn’t have a bunch of mirrors … apparently for practicing the chest thumping and not self reflection of your behavior towards other members .., let me guess. Next up I’m just a hater. Then a troll, then an eagles fan … and on and on and on … you’d have no purpose in life without this board full of people to insult … dang sad you actually waste your time being the premier internet muscle man
Yet, you still refuse to admit being wrong and wrongfully accusing and labeling for something YOU are actually doing. Just admit you were wrong, confused and wrongfully name called. That's all you've got to do.

They played a talented OL whose been together the whole season and are well coached. You also had a large mobile QB with a big arm and fantastic weapons.
Where's the list of why the offense was a epic fail?

There is a separate thread talking about the Offense and why it struggled. This one is about the Defense.

Translation…they got punched in the mouth early and backed down. No fight, just backed down cowardly. It’s what they do when things don’t go their way early.
Like a %#*$# kid. We can't rush the passer, so we're going to take our toys and go home.

Frustrating. Had some high hopes for this defense. But they are a one-trick pony.

ahhhhhh … I forgot you favorite line “just admit you’re wrong” … your favorite from the chest thump playbook that you copy and paste from all day, every day … I was not wrong at all
1) you quoted YOUR comment. Fact
2) your chest thumping paws wrote “what was HE wrong about” Fact

Who quotes themself then refers to themselves in the third person and not the first? A guy who forgot he isn’t logged into his burner. Fact

You referred to yourself as “he” versus “I” … soooooo you never passed 1st grade … or just forgot you were no longer in your burner? Simple really.

If you want to post from burner accounts to try and prop up your lame argument and like the garbage you post, by all means go for it … I understand, as your post I just quoted illustrates, we all get it, you have this unending want and need to be crowned the always right queen … so wear your Tiara with pride, just try and keep it straight as to which account you are logged in to when you quote yourself and ask what YOU were wrong about … bc not only were you wrong about everything in your OP, you then tripped over your thumbs and lost track of your burner, too. Not the best look, Queen Righteous.

I’m convinved you are Kellen Moore. Absolutely zero concept of complimentary football. The thought of entertaining the idea that the offense HAS to do it’s part and keep the defense off the field and rested is so foreign to you and your protect dak at all cost mantra. The idea the offense must not turn the ball over bc it hurts the defense is foreign to you.

Losing TOP 35-25 and throwing a pick sure as heck didn’t help the defense … nor did the fact the offense couldn’t get points on the board … but hey we all get it, your top job is to protect your man crush and misdirect any implications for his side of the ball on the outcome. How did the offense help the defense against buffalo? Start there.

This is always the problem with the Cowboys run defense when they give up a lit of rushing yards. The outside contain guys fail and then it leaves the smaller DBs to take on pulling linemen and RBs. But is it also the DL not forcing the OL to hold their blocks instead of getting to the second level. Hankins is much better than anyone else at not letting the OL get to the second level.

The point is: It wasn't our Offense's fault that our Defense could not stop Buffalo from the get go.
It wasn't our defenses fault the offense could barley muster 3 points all game until garbage time the last few seconds.

This Defense is built to stop the pass and play from ahead. When the offense disappears the Defense has trouble with the run. Simple as that you playing it’s the D fault excuse when the O did nothing
@America's Cowboy

This.

They are built to defend the pass. When they're up on the scoreboard, opponents don't "stick with the run".

The penalties were a huge issue. Was it 3 personal fouls on the defense?

No Hankins added to their run D problems.

I would have played Parsons at LB with more snaps for Armstrong at DE to improve run defense.

In general, the defense seemed out of sorts without Hooker. In directly impacted run defense because it moved Kearse back deep.

Regardless of specifics, they don't play well on the road. Outdoor stadiums seem to be a problem.

This Defense is not even stopping the pass. No sacks on Tua. Dolphins keep passing down the field every time. This Defense can't stop anything.

Anything? Exaggerating yet again .., pretty sure they stopped a 4th n goal and several other drives … meanwhile offense can’t score again … carry on
