...because no one bothered to block the Jets' stud MLB CJ Mosly. That's why.

Moving forward, I hope McCarthy, Schottenheimer and Solari figure it out and make sure to address making sure to block an opposing team's top tackling LB.

First play just looked like the guys on the double team failed to get off the initial block and to the second level at times.

Second play I'm not sure what went wrong, need a zoomed out camera to see the whole field. I'm assuming the pulling player should have picked him up but the DB crashed down perfectly. That play probably should have been checked out of pre snap or it was just a great play by the defense, not completely sure which.

Third play is just a great play by the defense. Simply misdirection play that no one fell for.

Thing I don't even see is that someone missed an assignment? Did our RB's run the wrong way?
On the second goal line attempt, it does seem as if Rico Dowdle didn't follow his FB behind Right Guard. Had he done so, he likely would have scored. On the other runs, it's questionable but no one picked up CJ Mosly. Had anyone simply blocked him, those plays could have ended up with better results.

Or,

We can just accept that the Jets D is good, and they have a defensive scheme that allows Mosley to make these kind of plays.

He's the teams top tackling LB for a reason. That's like the other team being upset that Parsons gets a free shot to the QB, when he runs a DL stunt, or a LB blitz. There is a defensive coordinator calling plays too

You might be right about that, it may not have been designed to be one that the RB bounces out on. Just a simple play where the RB needs to put his head down and follow his blocks.

Other than the first play I'm not sure the issue was the Oline.

Nope. Watching the plays in the OP video, CJ Mosly could have been blocked with better effort from our blockers.

On the first play, there was no reason for Edoga to take that long double teaming the DT before rubbing off to try to block Mosly. All Edoga had to do was deliver a punch to the DT enough to allow Biadasz to engage, then immediately rub off and go block Mosly. Edoga was too slow.

On the second play, like previously mentioned, Rico Dowdle simply didn't follow his lead block inside behind Zack Martin. Had he done so, Dowdle most likely scores.

On the third play (run to outside of Left Tackle), Biadasz needed to realize the bigger threat (Mosly) coming from the inside, instead of rolling along the line of scrimmage and go after a CB who already was engaged with our WR.

On the last play where Mosly came shooting free around Left Guard and hitting Dak as he was rushed into passing the ball, Edoga missed his assignment because he stayed too long trying to help Biadasz. Punch out and quickly rub off to cover your gap! Edoga is too slow.

Every run play shown could have been performed/blocked much better, regardless of Mosly's performance.
