Why this 2009 is springboard for next season?

As I noted a few days ago, if guys like Favre and Warner (but mostly Favre) decide to hang it up, things could get very interesting.

Coaches, pure and simple, the Colts have had to run up against the Patriots and been shut down by better coaches because the Colts do have some talent, maybe not as much as people have thought or written about, but they have the best qb in the game right now.

I think we did have the talent this year to take it all, we already knew we could beat New Orleans, I feel we were better than the Vikings, if Flozell doesnt go down, I think we beat them handily. Their defense was stout against the run, but if Romo had a few more seconds or some time here and some time there we could have beaten them through the air.

Our problem was we were not prepared, ie coaching and we didnt adjust and Garrett was out matched by the Vikings D. I think our coaching did us in in this particular match up.

Pure and simple when you are being beat at the line of scrimmage it does not matter what plays are called. Dallas according to Romo were unable to change snap counts to slow down the jump the vikes were getting and unable to check out of plays due to the crowd noise. I don't care what play you run or which formation you run out of if you getting your butt kicked on the line of scrimmage you will not win.

As for what the players have said yes they were prepared they simply did not do the job.

I really didnt ask if he did, i said do you feel comfortable with him at number 1? I personally do not. I dont know why, but I dont feel he is the prototypical number 1 receiver you want spear heading your WR corp.
