Not funny at all. He was in a contract year last year.

He is playing better because he is finally healthy and playing in a better scheme.

So marinelli is now coaching a different scheme than the last few years when Mo has been abysmal? Good to know

lol at the stuff you guys come up with to excuse underachievers

i love the way the Pokes are playing. Cannot say enough about Dak, Zeneca, the O-line, Mo, Byron, Lee. Heck, even the O C is getting love and respect from me. Could it be that we had it all wrong and that the reason we were so predictable was not the calls from the sideline but the changes at the line by Romo? Linehan seems to be running when they expect pass and passing when they expect run. Dak's preparedness, awareness and composure is lights out!!! He is Special!

But we have not played a single game with an opponent who has a winning record. I am not judging, it is just a fact. This weekend is a huge test. I expect us to win. We have too many weapons for any defense. Our coaching staff is mixing the plays perfectly and Dak is mastering the little things. However, he is so fundamentally sound it is incredible. He runs the offense like he is on warp speed and the defense is playing in slow motion. He is smart, athletic and can make most throws without hesitation. He throws a nice ball. On a rope when it needs to be and he can lob it softly. So much fun to watch.

Some props to the defense as well. They are doing it with bailing wire and band aids but they are getting it done. Isn't it funny that Mo is playing like Deon Sanders on his contract year? Seems like a pattern, no?

Diez is disappointing. He does have great athletic ability but no heart and certainly very short in the intellect department. As far as I am concerned, let him heal. He is a negative distraction to the maturation of T Will and Brice. Beaseley is un-coverable. Feed him the ball. Get lucky more involved as well. Find a way to use Escobar in the Red Zone. Don't rest, get better each week. Imagine what Belicheck or Johnson could do with that our talent. I am still very low on Ginger. He is a pretender. Time for that experiment to end.

Finally, where is Whiskey Wade? Does he have any part in the Dak phenomena? Jerruh wants the credit. He does not deserve it. Give it to Dak. He is mature beyond his years. I hope he just keeps getting better. Happy days are here again!!!! Cowboys 32 GB 21

I would be more than happy if the Boys lose this week and beat Philly after the bye week. 5-2 and first place in the division would be just fine. Of course 6-1 would be amazing.

You must have a short memory. Our offense is much more predictable now than it was under Romo. We run a very predictiable, safe offense. That's not a bad thing if it works. But our offense under Romo was much more varied and aggresive.
Totally not true. Under Romo the predictability was the downfall. Romo threw the INT at the most in opportune time. Romo has great abilities to extend plays and make hay out of nothing but don't tell me he was not predictable. He constantly reverted to pass only and attempting to make the impossible pass.

Diez has worked himself into a situation where he is one more knuckle headed move out of Dallas or at the very least on the bench. Have you ever seen anyone take himself out of a game more? On key third downs he is often a casual bystander. When was the last time he showed any heart?

I'm all in on your thoughts..

Good stuff.

I think though Jerrah does deserve some credit.

He got it in 2014 and deserved it.

He should get whatever he earns.

He actually has to be thanked for Zeke and DAK.

And for Bobby Campbell and others.

Ying and yang.

Id say week 3 when he played through a fractured knee.

2014 was a long time ago, huh?

Just for the sake of facts-- if you are knocking our opponents record, you need to look at Green Bay's as well. They have not beaten a team with a winning record either. They beat Detroit, Jax, and NYG-- and lost to Minny.

In a 16 game season every game is important. There is a difference between do or die game and a game being important. I do think this is an important game for the overall confidence of this team to beat a contender which GB has been, I think it is a important winning an NFC conference game as it counts in terms of tie breaking situation but lastly every time you step on the field it is important. Do or die as in lose and the season is over? NO but important you bet. I hope Cowboys take that mental approach that every game is important

"But we have not played a single game with an opponent who has a winning record"

Commanders are 3-2, or 4-1 had they beaten us.

Bengals are 2-3, or 3-2 had they beaten us.

If my grand mother had wheels she would be a bus.

Neither the Commanders or the Bungles beat us. Don't get your panties all in a bunch, my friend. I believe in this team, I am only pointing out that the challenges lie ahead with GB in GB and the Iggles, who are always a menace when playing us and then the Steelers. We will see what this team is made of. Are they elite, as I think they are, or do they need another year and some additional players to make the step up to elite. I don't think any of us had illusions that this team was going to be elite this year. Our play has surpassed my expectations and I am deliriously happy about that. Hoping we get better and better and meet New England in the SB.

Beautiful write up but I truly don't get this part. To say Dez has no heart of all attributes is mindboggling to me? Maybe I'm biased? Maybe I'm blind but I think he's a great teammate and a terrific player. Nonetheless great write up.
