Does anyone know? I know they did this vs the dolphins but I figured that was just because they’re bad but I saw it plenty of times last night also. What gives?

I think the coaches are noticing the flaws that he has in his game and getting him off the field in those obvious situations.

Dude turns like a sail boat. He can fly sideline to sideline or straight forward but when he has to flip his hips it's like Bradie James out there.

We rotate the entire defense based on down and distance at different intervals throughout the game. Marinelli has them all running to the ball so he tries to keep them fresh...

He played ~82% of available snaps fwiw. Last week was ~64%.

LVE played 100% of the snaps last night supposedly.

I understand the need to keep guys fresh, but we over substitute on defense.

Armstrong is in way too much for Quinn. DLaw Is battling that shoulder injury or something, and Hyder plays a ton for him.

Joe Thomas is a fine player, but he’s in for Smith too much.

Last night they subbed freely on the Saints second 2nd half possession despite the saints 1st possession ending 3 and out, and the Cowboy offense having their best drive of the night prior to it. Result = long Saints possession and decisive field goal.

This. Jaylon is also rushing the passer more often. That tires guys out too

I understand that, but I also saw a stat where it said Lawrence only played 52% of snaps, that’s a problem. The best players need to be playing way more than a little over half the snaps

He’s still not 100% from the shoulder surgery, he’s not a cyborg...

LVE is twice the player Smith is.

I actually had arguments this past offseason with people who tried to tell me Jaylon was better then LVE and he could cover better lol.

Jaylon is sick but LVE can play in space like no other.

Jaylon is a downhill runner but not as instinctive or explosive as LVE. Also doesn't have LVE's quicks or lateral burst.

Jaylon gets rotated because he's taking a handful of snaps as a pass rusher. Definitely want to rotate when you've got an LB going against OL
