Every other team overloads a side and makes the line have to think where is the blitz coming from and move around to pick up a guy. We blitz, we line up right in front of all of their blockers and have a test of a strength. On LJ's long pass, we put 8 on the line, fine, but they moved to max protect and had everyone blocked one on one and we just grappled with them. Whats the point of that? It makes me so mad, other teams come from all over the field like the Bears, Eagles, etc and we're just so plain with our scheme that Garcia made it so easy to audible out of the blitz because he knew excatly where we were coming from.

That is exactly what I am talking about when it comes to it being a "coaching" issue. You are taught since pop warner where to go. Are the players just not listening? I hardly doubt it. It seems that they are ONLY run blitzing. That should be the only time that you blitz that way.

cause zimmer sucks. really, thats all there is to it. he is not clever with his blitzing, he is an idiot who cannot do a thing to help this defense.

Thats what makes me mad too, other teams blitzes, and get to the QB, our plays just stand there and grabble with offensive players, and what furter ticks me off, you could tell some players werent playing all out, and Garcia said all their players layed it on the line, some of our players didnt, then you look at the way they stopped us on goal line, they had our plays figured out cold, yet, our coaches dont have them figured out, now that ticks me off, someone besides the players arent doing their job.

Simple.
Our blitz package is garbage.
There are teams with lesser talent that see better results.
The problem is Zimmer.
Just like Kotite was in New York Jets.
Just like Coslet in Cincinnati.
Just like Buddy Ryan in AZ.
Zimmer,you stink on ice.

Maybe if our numbnuts of a D-Coordinator could teach the players not to show a full house blitz 5 seconds before the snap OR if they show blitz, have some drop back in coverage, it would make things easier. A lot of people think blitzing is the answer. I'm for being aggressive, but the way we blitz where our disguise is so horrible, it's really counterproductive for us to blitz.

The blitz packages look highly unimaginative.

I see the Eagles and what Jimmie Johnson employs, and each week his stuff is specific to the opposition. Another words, you won't see the same blitz looks against Dallas as you would against the Commanders.

It seems as if we are so easy to prepare for. There is no deviation or creative use of personnel. Perhaps we are unable to execute such a scheme. I'm not sure.

Again, I watch Philly and I see them go nickel and bring blindside pressure off the corner. Then out of the slot. Dawkins walks up with 5 on the play clock and backs off. Meanwhile here comes Hood. They give looks to confuse. The Eagles don't always blitz a guy to bring heat. Often, they'll use him as a decoy or to free up someone else.

They're highly coordinated with their stuff. The sad part, for me, is Dallas' personnel looks to be on par or even better than what Jimmie is working with. Unfortunately, the return is sorely lacking.

And it's not just blitzing. We look undisciplined and ill-prepared. While I take issue with Zimmer, I also have to lay a lot of this on Parcells. In fact, moreso.
