I could have named this thread several different things:

-"Mr Perfect".....400 yards, 4 TD's and a "PERFECT" QB rating for Dak. This really is the beginning of the end for the Dak trolls. I couldnt be more pleased with the embarrassing season kickoff for them.

-"Zeke who"?........Nice to see Zeke, but this team is clearly more powerful with Dak leading the way and Moore calling the offense.

But what stood out to me the most tonight was how "wide open" these pass catchers were on these TD's.

Night and day. Moore had the opening night we could have only dreamed about. In a way it made me sad that we have wasted so many years under the horrid Garrrett and linehan led offenses. The scheme simply got guys "WIDE OPEN"!!

All night long. The play calling wasnt even anything spectacular, just a modern offense. We are finally beyond the Garrett horror show.

This WAS the Giants however and a few things of note.

This Dline was NOT good tonight. The pass rush was pathetic. And these DT's are a big problem. It needs to get fixed or better opponents will torch us. We can only hope that Quinn comes back in a few games and provides a rush from the other side. DT is another issue.

While there is truth that execution is needed to be successful, it is much easier to execute when the other team does not know exactly what is being ran.

I'm glad Kellen was given the freedom to run a very non-Garrett like offense. But it will be interesting to see....
  1. Kellen keeps that freedom after a badly called game? (It will happen eventually)
  2. If Kellen is able to adjust and adapt once teams start studying tape of his offense.
Its "easy" to have immediate success in the NFL. It's much harder to substain it.

But for week one, he earned an A+ for sure.

I am pretty sure Collins is getting doubled a lot(just like i predicted),Woods and rest of the DTs are completely getting owned on run and pass plays.

Moore and the O were off the charts tonight. It was very satisfying to watch.

Now the D, was almost equally disappointing. It seemed like they left off where they finished against the Rams, sleep-walking! A couple guys seemed to at least try (Awuzie/Woods/Lawrence) but overall it was lackluster against a team that had no business moving the ball....

Moore was exactly what he was hyped up to be.

Today he delivered big time and put opposing DC's on notice!

Yeah, no doubt. I had no idea what was coming tonight from play to play. The last 3-4 seasons I could predict the plays pretty much. Definitely refreshing to witness. I am intrigued with this offense and I haven't felt that way in a long long time.

But we just drafted a guy in the second round. How is it not fixed?

Hopefully the offense can carry the defense. Because it appears that our problems from the Rams and Colts of last year are still hunting us.

I was listening to Voch Lombardi and he was saying one reason the receivers were so wide open was the spacing of their splits. I'm not sure how that works but he said he's going to do a video on it this week.

U surprised our d line sucked?
Really?

Don’t discount Zeke and the running games absence today, there will be a time coming soon enough where it will be sorely needed.

It's "You're" or perhaps You are.

And it's not too much difficulty to spell out "defensive".

I admit, friend, that I fall into the occasional hole of quick spelling. But, I would think that you, as a master wordsmith of English would craft a much more witty retort.

It depends on the worthiness of the reader. Your punctuation needs work.
