To say Cooks and Dak were not on the same page all year is a stretch there was a learning curve early on but by the end of the year they were pretty much in sync.
Look at his stats, most of his yardage came in a huge game against the Giants

-Tolbert is heading into a make or break season. 3rd rd pick who has yet to make an impact after 2 seasons.
I'll never understand why this gets posted when people know what happened his rookie year.

He made a big jump last year and will again this year.

I suspect a lot of NFL teams would love to have our WR problem

Wasn't Zay Jones in for a visit just last week
The post I replied to stated "there is a reason we were trying to bring in a FA" which implies the Cowboys are bringing several or many WR's. FA is 2 months old so who are all these WR's? All I'm asking.

Tolbert was a player they really considered in the 2nd rd, he was expected to at least become a quality #3 receiver, where he is more of a 4th or 5th receiver.
To me, I see Tolbert as a poor mans Cedric Wilson

Did he really make a big jump? 22 catches isn’t much production at all

I don’t think he is on that same level, Wilson was far more productive when healthy and was an excellent special teamer. Wilson was a legit #3 receiver before he left, Tolbert is more of a depth type thus far

Compared to his rookie season he made a huge jump, remember though in this offense WR 3 is really 4 and WR 4 is really 5 with Ferguson who may see 1000 yards this season himself

If we are really honest with ourselves, isn't it true of every offensive squad on the Dallas Cowboys.

What known commodities do we have at the RB position? I think we have a short yardage specialist in Zeke. Everything else is speculation until we see something special happen.

The same is true at TE. We have Jake Ferguson but for all we know Schoonmaker might have a real breakout after al his setbacks the previous season.

The O-line will, most likely, begin the season with two rookies, one of them protecting Dak's blind side as the LT. Has Steele now fully recovered from his injury he sustained before last season? We know it takes longer than a year to get NFL ready.

I would say there are a ton of questions in regards to whether Lance can step in and actually compete as a starting QB. There is obviously questions about Dak's ability to take the nest step by defeating good teams in the olayoffs.

It is but our offense wasn’t an issue last year. It was top 5 in the league.
I just wish it wasn't an issue in Buffalo and San Francisco, where it looked like dog crap. A combined 287 yards passing with 1 TD and 4 picks. A little over 140 yards rushing combined. Outscored 73-20. Probably got the top 5 ranking because not everyone plays the Giants and Wash. 4 games.

When matters. Averages don't.

I'd like to be at least competitive against some of these better teams.
