i was upset to see that we didn't deal for a vet,but guess the offseason isn't over yet.

Why wouldnt Cinnci deal Ocho?? Im sure if he holds out long enough that they will have to trade him

Cincinnati has a history of playing hardball with disgruntled players. Chad Johnson's not going to get his way.

That's what Barry Sanders thought. 10 years and counting....................

I really was hoping that JJ would trade to get into the seventh to get Adrian Arrington. I think he is going to be a much better pro than his teammate Six Manningham and would have been worth a small trade effort. Oh well.

If 85 holds out the fines will only get bigger. Eventually he will report. Cincy has dug in and is ready to move on. They even drafted 2 WR's in the first 4 rounds just to make a point that they are ready to move on from Chris Henry and Mr. Cinco.

Something looks different about you Rampage....:p:

Wouldn't be surprised to hear that a few vet WRs will get cut either because of cap consideration or because the young WR is doing better then expected so why keep the vet around. Happened last year and will happen again this year. The only thing that will matter is what it will cost us against the cap & whether the vet WR is an improvement on what we already have.

Chad Johnson will have difficult time shaking free of the Bengals. He's under contract & will face steep fines if he fails to participate in TC, etc. Suggest he seek guidance from Corey Dillion on how he finally got away from the Bengals. I'd recommend Johnson show up at all Bengal functions as required, but (depending on Dillion's advice) continue to speak out re failure of Bengal organization to do "due diligence" in improving the team. Lay the blame squarely on owner Mike Brown. Believe Dillion finally got free after he criticized Brown's daughter's work as PR chief of Bengals.

On the other hand, I got little sympathy for Johnson. He signed a contract; doesn't matter if WRs now getting outrageous money. So I got no sympathy for him. Now if I really thought it was about the failure of Bengal organization to make any effort to improve the team and so Johnson wants out because he wants end his career with a winner, that is different story.
