This time last year, if I told you this:
The Skins will trade to #2 and possibly have a shot at drafting Andrew Luck, and Commanders fans will be very dissapointed...
Would you have believed me?
It is crazy how RG3 has dwarfed any interest in drafting Andrew Luck, here in DC, and is likely because, while Luck is more pro-ready, a safer bet; the overall more complete player. RG3 is more exciting, he has more ceiling/upside, and he brings something never seen before, and a sense of hope in DC.
I think it's the best move the Skins have made in 20 years - but really, if you look at our recent history, there's not much competition (likely only the Ricky Williams trade: that allowed us to draft Arrington, Samuels, Bailey, Jansen etc..., or drafting Taylor over Winslow, and picking up Cooley later in the round.
