“It’s a good time to be a fan of this team”? Unfortunately by October it will once again be a not good time to be a fan of this team. It's a good time to be a fan of this team....all these so called greact coaches, but what players are they going to be responsible for? Like seriously? We have no players, and have zero intention of signing anybody
People covering up for the FO is why we are in a 30 year drought? No wonder there's been nearly 30 years of failure here in DFW. There's no end to the people who continue covering up for this front office.
Well, as long as it has two sad clowns running it, it isn't likely to be any good no matter what head coaching act they book. I've reached the point where I'm no longer taking the bait and blaming the head coach. I still feel that Garrett was a bad choice because of his offensive philosophy and things fell apart quickly with Phillips because he is a great coordinator but poor head coach. However, I also have to acknowledge that this front office does its head coach no favors."...way too early to anoint this staff...."
I agree with that part. I draw a blank on Schott. He may be great, but his career is sketchy, no HC experience, no HC interviews and he's 51 grew up in a football family?
Yeah, he has been anointed as HC by the Booger Crew but so were 8 other coaches.
I'm not falling for the new circus in town until the new circus shows it has a better act.
Its wild that Kellen Moore abandoned the run when the Cowboys were averaging 12 yards per carry. Its the only time Moore and “wild” have been used in the same sentence
That should count for something
That's the "wild Kellen Moore rumor"??? SMH.
If they FO gets them players I’m a fan of the offensive direction. I hated Marinelli’s scheme so for me the jury is out on Eberflus. I like blitzing a lot more rather than sit back and play zone. Its actually a really nice looking staff on paper, and I've been as negative as most.
This is a pretty good point. The end result was pretty similar for the bulk of carries on these two teams last year. The big difference was they had Kyler Murray who basically gave them RB2 production from the QB spot, and got better results from their fresh legs down the depth chart in young guys like Emari Demercado, and Trey Benson. The Cowboys got the exact opposite going the veteran route in Zeke with 74 carries. Take out the QB runs for each team and Arizona ran 385 times to the Cowboys 379.I get that Adams likes running the ball but Connor in Az only had 15 yards more then Dowdle .
It will also have a lot to do with Dak when we hear “kill kill kill”……..This is a pretty good point. The end result was pretty similar for the bulk of carries on these two teams last year. It might be worth tapping the brakes on our outlook on the run game for right now. How this team drafts and approaches free agency will tell us a lot about how dedicated they are to making this a run first team. We need more than just a fresh coat of paint on this thing if we are going to expect a very different performance.
It will be sooner than that....like now, lol“It’s a good time to be a fan of this team”? Unfortunately by October it will once again be a not good time to be a fan of this team.
The Landry Hat's Jerry Trotta said:An A+ week continues to get better for the Cowboys.

And it only took a couple of assistant coach hires this time.Oh here were go....... time to celebrate ourselves. Glory reigns in the offseason every year in Dallas.
