Will anyone be watching the rest of the playoffs?

Nope, football season is over once the Cowboys are eliminated. I do sometime watch the Superbowl for the commercials and to keep up with the score for football pots.

I'll tape it and FF to see how it went down. I have no desire to watch what should be ours. I'm ready for next season.

I picked the Cowboys vs Steeler SB before the season started, I think I'll be right about one of those teams making it.

I like the Steelers over NE. I don't think this Pats team is that good. Records mean nothing in today's NFL. The Steelers D has improved greatly since the middle of the season. If Ben has a good game the Steelers win.

I like GB over Atlanta

If you're in NFL fan next to the Super Bowl championship Sunday is the most exciting day in football. It's been 21 years since the Cowboys played in a championship game so I'm used to them not being there.

I have no idea and don't care- Cowboys season is over! However, I may passively watch, but my interest has drop considerably.

Right after the loss I felt too heartbroken to even think about watching any more games this year.

That being said, I'll be tuning in today. My emotions have calmed down and I love football.

You watch whatever entertains you. In the past, I've watched conference championships and Super Bowls after Dallas was eliminated. Sometimes I didn't. It's no biggie either way.

Im a fan of football, but im boycotting the NFL the rest of the way. The NFL needs to understand when their refs impact the outcome and send America's favorite team home their ratings will suffer.....

Amen brother. We cant keep supporting this trash. Nothing will ever change if the fans refuse to make a stand.

I will be...with a heavy heart. unfortunately my fiancé is a Packers fan. now before all of you have a conniption, she lived in Green Bay when she was younger and went to several games. So she's not a band wagoner. And we made a pact that we would root for each others teams when they didn't play each other. Although, I was hoping the Giants would've won in the WC round. I have done some ground work with her and she wants to buy a Dak jersey for her. I don't know if I'll ever fully transfer her fanship, but in all honesty, nobody should change the support of their team for anyone. That's not a true fan.She watched the game at her friends house on sunday, and she said she found herself being torn during the game. As far as this weekend goes, I'll at least put on the image that I'm supporting her team, but deep inside I'll be hurting... hurting bad.

Of course you should never convert to being a Packer fan for her. That would be sacrilegious. However, she should totally dump the Pack and root for the Boys because she's with you. I mean, c'mon, this is the Dallas Cowboys we're talking about. ;)

The FANS who've lost interest now that the Cowboys are out had their expectations for the team too high. I knew after the second loss to the Giants this team wasn't special. You could see cracks forming in the defense against Washington in week 12 when we gave up 3 TD's on the Commanders final 3 possessions that kept them in the game. I saw no killer instinct from the Cowboys (what else is new) who had every opportunity to put the game away but allowed Washington to stay in it until the very end. Once we lost to the Giants a second time it was clear we weren't the same team we had been between weeks 5-10. When we beat Green Bay at Lambeau and then 4 weeks later went up to Pittsburgh and beat the Steelers that's when I started thinking this team could be special. To see Dak gun down Rodgers and Roethlisberger on the road had me thinking this could be our year.

To see a rookie QB out duel 2 future HOF QBs who've won 3 SB's between them gave me goose bumps and that hasn't happened in a very long time watching the Cowboys but things started to change as the season went on. The Cowboys finished the final month of the season 2-2, mailing in a season finale that although was meaningless in the big picture still had some significance to putting a nice ribbon on a great regular season. Nothing irritates me more than ending a great regular season on a sour note, having to endure watching a scrub playing QB for 3 freaking quarters. The way we ended the regular season left a bad taste in my month and it was the same sour taste I had at the end of the 2007 season. My posts speak for how I felt about our SB chances and they weren't very good. I was prepared for what happened because I saw this same sad movie before in 07. Yes, it's disappointing the Cowboys are out but I expected it and now I can sit back and enjoy the playoffs with no stress because I don't care who wins.

I just want to see an exciting SB matchup and I think Rodgers vs Brady would be a great SB matchup. The Packers are going to have a tough time getting past Atlanta because they have a lot of weapons on offense. They have a couple of excellent receivers including Julio Jones who may not be 100% and they have a couple of good backs. Can never rule Rodgers out but without Nelson in this game and with all the offense Atlanta has along with Ryan having an MVP year, It's going to be tough. The last time Atlanta reached an NFC title game in 2012 in which they also played at home their D choked in the second half and they still have a number of defensive holes. I expect a shootout similar to their first meeting in week 8. The Cowboys may be out but I'm looking forward to the fireworks in that game with both teams riding lengthy winning streaks.

Its not so much about expectations for me as it is getting a fair shake. If GB could manage to beat us without help from the officials I could digest the loss alot smoother. But in a game of inches they gave GB miles and I cant seem to stop being pissed off about it. Wether we deserved to win or not I cant say but I sure know what a clothesline tackle looks like against our DL with a ref standing 3 feet away.

The future is bright though and I cant help but be excited for our team going forward.

Pulling for Atlanta heavy.

What hurts though is no matter what happens, our record for most SB appearances record will be broken.

Also, since 1996 only 11 teams have won a SB. Atlanta could make that 12. But I can live with that. Don't want GB or patriots getting 5 and I don't want a team that supports a Rapist to get 7

It wasn't the officiating that got us beat it was our defense. It's unfortunate for some of you that you have another call to beat yourselves up over the rest of your lives thinking it cost us another championship. Our defense is what's costing us opportunities at a championship.

Except if the packers werent holding on every single play maybe our defense would have yielded better results.

Absolutely not. I will not be watching.

I used to watch all playoff games + SB, but now I only watch the Cowboys. The NFL and Goodell are a joke. They are just making things up as they go. It all started with the cap penalty on the Cowboys. I have never seen a professional sports league penalize a team for breaking the "spirit" of a NONEXISTENT rule.

Then they hit us with the Dez non-catch... Again, they have to make up rules against us.

Then the Butler penalty that has been called twice in 3 years. Not only is this an obscure penalty that is never called, but it was not even applied correctly and then the NFL has to selectively quote from the rule book to defend its actions.

Everything is subjective in the NFL. The rules are whatever Mara, Goodell and Blandino say they are. Same thing with suspensions, fines, etc. I am not interested in watching the NFL except for the Cowboys.

I am a fan of football.

Despite the controversy around the Packers OL blocking scheme aside, and despite the over the top love-fest for Rodgers --- I <DO> strongly believe Aaron Rodgers is a once in a generation player and I am intensely curious to see if he is able to put an extremely flawed Packers team on his back and get his 2nd ring.

Baby steps! Rome wasn't built in a day! :)
My loyalty will never waver from the Boys! I assure you of that! :starspin:
