Will Bruce Carter Play?

I haven't seen anything about his activation and am just wondering if I just missed it? Anyone know whatsup?

It's been reported from several sources that he will be active on Sunday primarily playing on ST. The question has been who will be cut to make room for him.

He's practicing with the team already. At this point, the activation is just a formality. Since activating him requires cutting someone else, they have every reason to put it off as long as they're allowed to.

No, actually Friday is the day they make these moves. To make sure guys are still healthy for the game before they make them.

I don't think Carter will play this Sunday. They haven't cut anyone yet, and the Boys leave town tomorrow.

He's practicing with the team alrady. At this point, the activation is just a formality. Since activating him requires cutting someone else, they have every reason to put it off as long as they're allowed to.

I know he is already practicing, but based in the PUP rules they have until next week to decide whether to activate him to the 53 or not. He's practicing, but he's not activated.

And yes, Wednesday is usually when they cut and sign guys because they have workouts for potential signees on Tuesday and then the new guy gets three days of practice with the team. It wouldn't make sense to make a roster move on a Friday with only one day left before the game. Carter is a different situation because he has been practicing, but still, if they were going to make the move for this game it seems they would have done it Wednesday.
