It isn't possible. I think it is more likely that we try to trade back in this draft in the first three rounds to fill in the dead space between our 4th and 6th round picks.
This team is not so stacked that only 5-6 guys would make the team. These aren't 7th Rd comp picks we are talking about here. And even if what you suggested was true, there's nothing stopping them from packaging picks next year to move up in early rounds. The only difference is the picks they trade won't be devalued by a full round in those trades.its not about "outsmarting" anyone, it's about value at a Position of need. How smart is it next year to draft 11 players when only 5-6 will make the team...
