Will Dez Start?

I think he will start over RW11 sooner or later.

Hopefully sooner, but it depends on how fast he picks up the offense.

The timing between a veteran QB and rookie WR isn't always that good right off the bat and that could be a recipe for a lot of INTs.

With that said, if Romo gets confidence in him in TC and the OTAs it may just be sooner than later.

IDK man if Bryant works hard like people say he will I find it hard to believe him and Romo won't find a quick chemistry. Romo and Ogleetree we're connecting in the last season pre season games and stuff.

Nope, not this year anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised if he does. He's a first round stud-of-a-WR that we moved up to take. You don't move up for a guy that you covet if you don't think he is starting material.

Plus, Jerry most likely will want to see his guy (Dez) playing. It might take half a season, but he'll get there.

Exactly. You don't make that move if he's not going to be starting this year. He needs to be out there getting game experience. We could have had Marshall for two 2nds or Boldin for a 3rd. For what we gave for Dez he needs to be out there day one, IMO.

"According to owner-general manager Jerry Jones, the Cowboys consider Williams, Bryant and Pro Bowler Miles Austin as starter at wide receiver"

Who starts?

A whole lot of that depends on Roy Williams. The starting job is his to lose. And if next year goes like last year did for Williams, there is a good chance he'll lose it.

He probably won't start right away, but I could see him starting by mid-season. No matter what the guy is going to contribute this year whether it be in the slot or in the return game.

He played a fair amount in the slot at OSU. The slant was almost automatic, because the DB's had to give him space or else it was TD. If a DB lacked size, Dez would just shrug him off. The guy's a beast.

Gundy tried to get Dez in favorable matchups and out of constant double teams, so he's played alot of positions.

U think over R. Williams

This year chances are no. I think they will have some plays and situations where they will get Dez in the game but I think like many WR who entered the NFL it will take a little time for him to get up to speed. As I posted in another thread Dez on day 1 will be returning kicks as one of the best returnmen in college football.

My guess would be game 6. Another sport site thought he would start by game 2 but Williams is getting paid too much to be pulled that soon. Will be great TC story to follow.

Game ten. The Cowboys will stick to Roy Williams at least as a part-time starter until they can't justify it anymore. As good as this defense may be, we might not need as much offensive production so Roy will get every opportunity to prove he can turn it around.

I'm happy with the pick, don't get me wrong, he's just not the most intelligent player I've ever seen and I feel like he's offended easily. I guess time will tell.

What did he say wrong in that video?

He may not be the most well spoken player, but I didn't see anything wrong in that interview.
