Willing to part with a number one pick to get a safety should be a wake up call for our secondary, it should also be a wake up call for Richard. Jobs are on the line and they know it. The question is, how will they respond? Heath plays hard, I really don't think he can get any better. He is what he is, can Richard coach him up anymore or has he hit his ceiling.

Hopefully after this and if they made any adjustments before the trade talks, for which they should have. Creates a sense of urgency with this defenses. as well as the entire team.
Long tough road and schedule the rest of the way, and not as tough as the Eagles schedule. On paper anyway. The games themselves you never know.

And both the Giants and Commanders seem to be playing a little better. So these games will not be cake walks for the Cowboys or the Eagles as many think they will be. Because they are division games and they will want to play spoiler.

This is amazing. Since Rod has been here it is very clear Dallas does not value the 1T DL or S positions. This draft is a perfect example. At 60 Dallas was well positioned to draft several starting quality S's. Instead they pick a work out warrior, unproven DT that can't even suit up on Sundays. We hear all summer about this guy's "explosive get off." More lies. They also could have made a move on ET. That contract is ridiculous but they never seemed to be engaged with him despite his obvious desire to play in Dallas. So they have a 6th rounder and a UFA at the starting S's. They don't seem to care unless max embarrassment has happened. Heath is embarrassing for sure but not max embarrassing yet.

How long are we all going to complain about the S position?

So we're going to pretend the Cowboys didn't make an attempt to land Adams yesterday? The Jets demands were over the top - he's not the second coming of Ed Reed.

What I’d like to know is can’t JG and or Jerry read that. Then watch what the patriots reaction to that statement was(confusing the **** out of him) and try some of that?

It’s almost like they felt sorry for the Cowboys after he talked trash about us and beat him up.

Who were the safeties and how are they playing?

I’d like to be angrier.

It predates Rod. I mean seriously what safety since Roy should we really be proud of? Sensabaugh, Hamlin, Davis, Church all of the safeties since Roy have been par or less. Name a safety we drafted in first 3 rounds in past 10 years?

It's obvious to me, the renowned ledgendary #38 is tentatively running at a reduced power output rating of only 75 HLKS measurement readings
( Heath-like kenetic slam x units per regular season gamed calculus rating scale) solely due to his full known knowledge of the irreversible consequences upon the oppositions life&limb should he let slip and inadvertently red-line his onboard complement of superior combat casing-liner,,,

Overall not too sad about the deal going bad as if things go south for us we just might be picking in the top ten and who knows lots of good QB prospects in the draft class.
