First it was Al Johnson, Then Jacob Rogers and finally Kevin Burnett all injured before the start of the season. Here's hoping that none of the rookies or Vets
have any major injuries this mini or training camp. That would be a good sign for the season.

One of Fasano's back screws will come loose and he'll be out of football for life. Book it.

i think fasano, will b a good TE, in the NFL. what makes it better, is that we have a whitten, somebody that can help fasano develop faster. we are gonna b , great this year in, the double TE sets

They found a plate and screws in his back when he was getting examined before the draft this offseason. I don't think he would have been a first rounder, but he'd definitely been higher on a lot of people's draft boards barring that discovery.

Was that a legit report? I find it hard to believe true when none of the Dallas media have reported it and I also don't see the Cowboys spending a second round pick if true. Someone posted his injuries in college and it mentioned he had back spasms in a game.

I have no idea if its true or not. It was reported, and that's all I can say. It does seem odd to me that this wasn't more widely reported.

Sorry, don't have one. It was pretty common knowledge around here when the report surfaced.

the report started with "a post from another message board"

Searching Google for terms like Fasano back, fasano plate, fasano screws brings nothing except him missing a game in college.

Also Fasano surgery has nothing at all, and the plate and screws had to be put there surgically.

So all in all I say the screws and plate is was more of a rumor started by someone who didnt like the pick

That sounds about right. I checked google extensively as well and came up with nothing.

You're right he is pretty good. But he missed how many games his rookie year? 8 I think and how many last year 5 or 6?
