I suspect Grier will be the 3rd guy if we keep two QBs? I have to say, so far, I see a marked improvement in his game. He looks steadily improved compared to last year. I think Cooper Rush also looked solid.

I must have missed Jalen Brooks debut. I never saw him, although Tolbert and Houston showed up.

What about this John Stephens guy? Does he have a shot on the team at all?

Grier has to find a rhythm, and he did for some parts of the game. Also, once he reads the field instead of locking in on a certain receiver he'll be ok.

Stephens is a PS guy, but he has some potential.
I believe Stephens will make the 53. He’s hot right now and trending up

You get him for 4 years as McKeon will be a FA next season

Stephens won’t make 53, Fehoko looks a step slow and a dollar short of paying off . If Tolbert is 4 and Brooks continues camp / PS success if it came down to Houston or Fehoko , good bye Simi .

I don’t see an issue in the Qb room . Who’s available that’s head and shoulders above what Dallas has 2 & 3 . I suspect Rush gets 3 quarters against Seattle next week .

Grier’s arm looks weak. Made some mistakes with the ball and didn’t play a clean game by any stretch. Rourke looked tons better than he did.

Stephens has a chance to knock McKeon off the roster. But we can’t go heavy at TE, RB, and OL. Gotta make some tough calls.

My guess is they go with 3 TEs and hope to stash Stephens on the PS.

I don't know why people are complaining about Grier. Didn't he complete 14 passes in a row at one point during the game?
Both of our qbs are 3rd string talent. I would argue that Rush overachieved last season

I’ve been seeing a bit of buzz around Stephens Jr. for a while now. He got reps with the 1st team offense in camp a few days ago.

Also, for consideration -

The WR turned TE is a phenomenal athlete.

In a WCO, this is why I think he has a shot to take McKeon's spot on the roster. This team may be more pass-oriented than run, contrary to popular belief. It sure looks like it's unfolding that way. We have Pollard, so we can run. But I think we turn the passing game up a notch this year. So we can be less predictable.
