In place of who? McKeon?


They kept 4 TEs last year, because those guys can play STs.
If Stephens makes the team it'd in McKeon's place I'd think.

The team has seen enough of McKeon to know what he is.

Ideally they'd put Stephens on the PS but they might be hesitant to do that if a team that looks at his athletics scores decides to make him a project. Exposing him to waiver wires could be risky.

I think that Stephens is proving that he can play and his upside is worth losing one of the other tightends. Also there are several players on the team that they could use in trade to help get an olineman.

Personally, I think you can place McKeon on the PS and nobody would pick him up. If they did, no big loss.

They put him on the PS before and he cleared waivers. No one is beating down the doors for him for sure.

Stephens has massively larger upside just based on his athletic scores and what he's shown in camp.
