why do we need to sign a web to our practice squad

It's obviously not a requirement and we already have 3 on the roster, but many teams do carry 1 on their practice squad. If there are injuries you would already have someone to call up that knows the system.

Worse case scenario: Dak gets injured, Trey's not ready...so you add Grier to our 53 off the Browns practice squad and he becomes the backup to Rush. Problem solved.
