Believe the Cowboys will keep to the BPA at #27 or possibly trade down.

I've said all along at least a 50/50 chance of trading down. All we need is a couple of hot players drop to us and the phone will ring.

Signing Hardy doesn't change my approach one bit to this draft. The primary goal this offseason is to create unrelenting pursuit of the QB on every play. Draft whoever is the highest rated player on your board that will achieve the primary goal.

Targeting a specific position going into the draft is a terrible idea. With or without Hardy this roster is far from great. There are very few, if any, positions that we can't improve on or won't need help at in the near future. Go by the board and it should be fairly easy. The only positions that I MIGHT balk at would be C/G and WR. And even WR might be an option to Jerry/Stephen depending on how they truly feel about eventually paying Dez a lot of $

Best player available in an area of need if the best player is DT take DT, if its RB take RB, no TEs or WR. Look to def first unless there is a 'sure' thing in an area the team is weak if the best player left is RB well we need a front line runner, if there is an OT that projects well I am not against that. do not reach because the team needs DL or DB help.

An in shape Josh Brent can be a big upgrade to Hayden. Ken Bishop has upside there also. They have multiple other options with upside and veterans T. McClain and Okoye.

At CB they have next to nothing and still might part with Carr due to his 8M salary.

I like a lot of the DTs in this draft. Goldman is my favourite.

That being said, if we get Hardy, I think CB/RB/LB are at the top of the list, not DT. A guy like Cooper or Hardison can be had in rds 2 or 3. And they would be looking for someone to rotate with Crawford, not a full time starter. And we know how little they value the 1T.

I'd put Kevin Johnson high on the list now of potential picks at 27

For LB, I'd like Kendricks. Not sold on Perryman or McKinney
