Will Jerry & McClay make a midseason “Amari” trade if defense struggles? Ex. Jalen Ramsey

A midseason race for a blue-chip WR?
Why would Jerry, who holds on to geezers and lame players such as Written and Sean Leach until their wheels fall off, trade away the best player on offence?
Have some bacon and relax

Other teams might want to see Cooper play 100% healthy for one season before they take that trade. Hasn't happened in a couple years.

If you think you can trade for Ramsey, you might as well trade for Donald as well.

Our very own Amari is barely 27, compañero de armas.
Lame though? I myself have his affliction (plantar fascia) and while it's not completely debilitating, it's something that really is only decent discomfort and stretching, along with adrenaline, gets you to near 100 percent before bed.

I'm willing to witness old boy take on the season while keeping a close eye on our second year prize and his possible ascension, or soph slump.

Love lifts us up where we belong, where eagles fly.

We can be heroes, if just for one day.

I am anxious to watch this team this year.

Written is the geezer and Leach is always lame.
Does that clear it up?
The point is, Jerry always holds on to players past their expiration dates.

Hes not "long in the tooth."
That's a matter of interpretation. He's been around 6 seasons and is certainly into the second half of his career. As far as trade bait goes, he has a value that he will not have in a couple of years. If the Cowboys have injury concerns about Amari, it's better to trade him now than later when he loses that value. Did you notice he has been held out of almost all of the OTAs and questionable to be ready to participate in training camp or be ready when the season starts? How do you not see that as a potential problem that doesn't deserve a potential solution like trading him before he gets even worse? I'm just talking about possible problems and solutions. What better do we have to talk about this offseason?

Jesus Christ guys, the OP didn't mean to trade Amari. He meant a midseason trade like the one we did in 2018 FOR Amari. I felt like that was clear when he put "Amari" in quotations.
