I don't agree with some of you guys...I think Peterson would be a great fit as Strong Side OLB...opposite Ware. I was surprised to see him listed as 6'3/235...he plays MUCH bigger then that. I would have guessed him as 6'4+ and 250 or so. He is an excellent cover LB and can absolutely explode to the QB similar to Ware. Does a great job against the run...him opposite Ware would be very exciting!

I did not know he was with the Postons either, so forget this all the way around...will never happen. If it did I would be pretty happy though.

i live near SF, so I see their games all the time. Peterson is a big playmaker, but he is injury prone and in the 3-4 he will probably get hurt even more. He would be a good pickup if he didnt have the Postons, wasn't coming off acl injury, and didnt want to be one of the highest paid lb's around like the Postons have been asking for years.

If we could somehow get him to a cheap deal i'd take a chance on him for our 3-4 because he has so much versatility to rush the passer and then drop back into coverage like a safety, I just think its way too much of a risk.

The biggest issues are the Postons and the money he is demanding....I agree it's to much money with some risk there. For a fair price...i'd be happy with him though.
