Hats off to KEARSE being a bright spot for us this past season, hoping we're going to sign him FIRST!! My only issue is there seems to be a common issue in Dallas where a player has a great first year, then the next year, they're not the same player.

Either their play drops off, or a severe injury takes place. Will KEARSE continue to give us solid play??

I think so. If you listen to his interviews all season, he always had confidence in his abilities, he just never felt like he played for a team that gave him an opportunity to show it.

Kearse has never struck me as one of those guys who gets distracted by the spotlight. All business, underrated leader.

I think even Hook might surprise some people if he stays healthy.
Yes, I believe he will. Some guys just don't stop working and competing. He seems to be on of those type guys.

Definitely gives the impression of a professional. Didn't see him take his foot off the gas at all this year while just about everyone else was fading.

I think it makes most sense for Kearse to stay here. He started some (mostly for the first time although he started a few games prior) in Detroit the year before but he really blossomed this year in Dallas under Quinn.

Some players thrive under certain coaches.

Kearse seems to be one of those guys

That's always the gamble. It's generally only with hindsight that fans look back and say, I told you he'd be a bad signing. Never mind the times they told us a player would be a bad signing and the player turned out to be a good one. Most just think any high-dollar signing is bad.

Key free agent

I'm not gonna lie, I was down on Kearse vs SF because he was loafing severely on the Deebo Samuel TD. However, JK was coming off a battle with cv so I can innerstand if he was still feeling the effects.

Funny, Dono had a down year after a breakout year. I think the Cowboys and JK will work out a fair deal to bring him back. I'm glad Dono will be there as insurance.

I would like for him to return. Not sure about Neal, did he really make any huge difference.
Kazee can go on down the road.

I think with Quinn staying there is a chance they return. Possibly Hooker, he needs to stay over Kazee for sure.

However can kind of comp pick can we possibly get also. 5th, 6th or 7th round. Depending how many we lose and sign of course.

"Run Hit Talk ****"

yeah, he's gonna bring this offseason if we can sign him

they have to keep either Neal or LVE.

gonna cost $$$ to keep LVE.

With Kearse it's of course going to depend on other offers. Several teams are going to like what they saw on film in 2021.

Did the light finally go on or was it Quinn and/or his system?

If someone offers him like 4/30 with half guaranteed he is gone. Couldn't afford him if we wanted to.

They drafted Mukumahu (or whatever) last year, and they LOVE those 6th round safeties (and applaud themselves for it).....so I expect he and Wilson to be the starters next season.

Honestly, when it's essentially draft only for starters, you kinda have to play your late picks eventually.

The problem arises when those players play exactly on par with 6th rounders, but the spin is that they are great at drafting. They act like they routinely find blue chippers in round six.

There's also the great 4th rounder Reggie Robinson who was moved to safety. I guess there's the depth.

Kearse's future remains to be seen. Other teams will be attracted to him. We'll attempt to keep him, but will we succeed? We'll see.

That is also the thing. There are so many needs. And the will not use a high pick on a DT or a S. Which hare the 2 biggest issues IMO. Big DT, then a ball hawking S.
Well, the OL needs to be upgraded also. We do need a mother LB as well, maybe 2.

I am tired of this...we drafted great in the late rounds... Well, where in the hell are they. I am still not sold on Wilson. They seem to reach a lot. I am still waiting for all these players to show a difference.

I'll throw a little more icing on top for ya sir....

DT is a need? Sure is. In the last three drafts we spent a 2nd and two 3rds on the position.

Exactly how well do we really draft?

Not well enough to punt on FA entirely and still be any good....but it's spun differently.
