If they sit in cover 2, give us the running game and dare us to take chances, then yes I think he makes 1 or 2 big plays tonight, along with miles austin.

If they stack the box and make romo beat them, I think he is blocking all game and wont be a factor in the passing game.

you must not have been paying attention. its that 12 formation that's causing headaches for defenses. remember the three big long TDs against tampa? it was bennett forcing the LB to move outside with him and got williams lined up against a saftey. he is opening holes for others to explode. it was also this same formation helping the cowboys run game last week since the giants decided they won't give up the long pass play and kept a saftey deep and dallas was able to over power their defense with the run game.

of course some people like you see everything in the stats.....

Ok, but in OTAs and Training Camp Marty B was a standout and many people thought he would be a breakout player but so far it seems like he getting shoved under the mat with the current playcalling. He has the ability to move the chains even on those dump off plays in the flats. He is a beast and it seems like we don't use him enough as recieving threat.

he is not shoved under the matt. he is being used exactly as we want. he is creating mismatches and others are exploiting it either in the passing game or running game. teams know about him and have to account for him and he has opened up holes for others. his chances will come....

he has opened up holes for others to exploit or have you forgotten the number of big plays over the past two games? he obviously is not the first option for Romo and if we continue like this then teams will try and take the first options away and Bennett will get his chances.....its take what the defense gives you kind of offense or pick your poison....unless Romo decides to get cute....if Romo sticks to the script this is a very tough offense to stop.
