Will McCarthy have the fortitude to pull Dak if necessary?

That's a bigger issue I mean there are 32 teams, 16 of which probably wish they had a better starter, there may be 12 solid quarterbacks in the NFL that can win games and then it starts to dilute down to 16 and after that its not good..

again, seriously you want us to have two quarterbacks that can win games when there are 32 teams that don't have a quarterback that can actually win a game they're playing that whole quarterback carousel... The reality of the NFL for most teams that have a shot in the playoffs or for a Super Bowl you know that are considered contenders if they lose their starter for any considerably amount of time it's most likely over season probably done... It's not all cases but most yes if you lose your starting quarterback your chances go down tenfold..
you know most of these guys play Yahoo fantasy football. they just make trades and vallah instant depth

We’re gonna have a 14 page thread based off a hypothetical. How bout this one, what’s the difference? If Dak had an MVP type season, won the superbowl, was first team all pro, threw for 6k and 45 TDs , would all of y’all shut up about Dak? Nope… he still wouldn’t be good enough for those of you would immediately ask, can he do it again?
their complaints would be
- Should have done it 3 other times and failed
- we could have done it much cheaper
- Rush could have done the same thing with this team

This is a disingenuous post, faulty premise, faulty conclusion. What about Dak's prior years leads any rational human Being to believe a healthy Dak Prescott will lead Dallas to a 2-7 rercord

What kind of Cowboy fan would even ponder that ? As my ignore list gets longer and longer
its called their wishful thinking, hypothetical hyperbole to create conversation and get some of their anger out.

If McCarthy doesn't pull Dak, it will cost him his job.
Dak will once again escape blame, and will allow someone else to take the blame for his inept play.
McCarthy took the job in Dallas, handicapped by being saddled with a quarterback that is overrated and over hyped, and unless McCarthy can overrule Jerry and find someone else to lead the team on the field he will be blamed for the failures.

pure TMZ. non football related BS from bunch of attention ****** with shady pasts

That was 15 interceptions in 12 games. The one that bugged me the most was against Washington. He threw to a simple out route, and it went right into the Washington player's hands, but he dropped it. I was like, "Whew, close call. Careful, Dak." Then, on the very next play, he made the same boneheaded throw, but this one was a pick 6. He lucked out by avoiding an interception simply because the opponent had butter fingers. Then, he made the same stupid mistake again, and this time the Washington player took advantage of it. I want him to play better than that. I guess that makes me some kind of hater. No, I don't hate him, but I do want this team to get its money's worth from him, and that wasn't it.
that bothered me too. but why would the OC call the exact same play, from exact same formation, with WRs running exact same routes...oh wait, I am going to fool the defense.

stupid

not dismissing Dak, making a bad throw. but stupid play call.

It is unless its not.
You and others parade the cowboys beating goat brady and bucs in playoffs as daks crowning achievement.
yeah, I get it. Bash Dak over Dallas Cult touts Rush's win stat, but then compares Dak playing stats with other QBs.

I call it a goal post on wheels. it can go anywhere depending on argument they want to make

Nope, does not have the guts for that. If he pulls Dak for anything other than injury then the season results are 100% on him.
If he leaves a struggling Dak in there he has a scapegoat.
Not saying Dak will struggle but if he does nothing will happen.

You would know.....you do the same thing you accuse others of doing.

teams win games....until you need to prop dak....using s loser team to do it no less.

Talk about changing tbe goal posts....sheesh.

Look over there....its Rush AND a squirrel.

Oh I do....it's why I don't prop up Dak and "his" "greatest accomplishment" as HE beat "goat" brady and (losers) Bucs in the playoff game.

He played well...but the team beat the bucs.

teams also lose games. I have never totally blamed him for the Niners loss. He had a couple serious errors....but the team lost.

I hope this is clear enough for you. It's what I have ALWAYS said.
