Will McCarthy have the fortitude to pull Dak if necessary?

The Pressure is on him like white on rice.
I expect Dak to implode this coming season big time as he doesn't have the talent or the mental steel to keep this job much longer.
Once the boos and the garbage start again it wouldn't surprise me at all if Dakko hits the bench.
Yes, you all remember this one right?

Everyone notice the tweets are from Eagles fans.

Yeah, this Eagle fan ^^^^ keeps exposing himself.

First, I'm hoping Dak bounces back from his interception troubles and plays great. I hope he plays so well that I say that I'm glad Jones paid him that big contract. I haven't said that yet. If he plays awesome and this team has a shot at the NFCC, then I'll shut up.
...
However, if he stinks up the place, if his interception problem ends up as bad or worse than last year, then McCarthy should pull him. Put in Cooper Rush. I know that would not make Dak happy, but this game isn't about his happiness. It's a meritocracy, and if some other player gives you a better chance to win, you need to go with that player.
...
Again, I'm not sitting here hoping that Dak stinks up the place. I want him to play well. I'm talking about ONLY if he plays really terrible.
I expect Dak to have a good season. It's the post season where his troubles will start. McCarthy should of pulled him at halftime of the 49ers game. All they needed was a bus driver that could move the ball. Dak couldn't even do that. Rush should of been given a chance. Dak had like 60 yards passing up until the final possession where he added another 20. Total 80 yards passing in second half. You telling me Rush cant do that.

If Dak continues to cost us games, yes.
Jerry will give mike the o k, because Jerry knows his days are numbered. Hell he might even fire mccarthy and Dak. Lol
I still have McCarthy on a 5 game a notice. If we're under 500 after game five, hes down the road.

It wasn't a single game last year where he should have pulled Prescott not one not a single game... Well the fans have the fortitude to actually know what's going on on the field?? I doubt that if you think Prescott needed to be pulled in any of those games last year and Cooper rush could have played better you are delusional very delusional.. Cooper rush is ranked about 40 in the NFL and you think that even on his best day he's better than Prescott on his worst day dude again you've got some serious problems.. Outside of about 4 quarterbacks in the NFL maybe five I'm not pulling Prescott for any of the other ones..

We've already been through this we broke down all those places at least seven of those interceptions were not on Prescott they were not bad decisions they were not bad throws they were on a lot of other things tip passes bad routes receivers having balls bounce off their hands two of them were from his jersey being pulled from behind or his hand being hit on a follow through..

this is for you maybe Troy should have been pulled, Roger yup look at all these INTs !!!!

roger

td 153-109 ints Playoffs 24td 19INTs(umm none of those critical LMAO) UMM OK

Troy-

165-141 playoffs 23tds-17 INts(right none critical huh?) no way jimmy would have put up with that

Dwhite

155-132 playoffs 15-17 WOW no way TL puts up with mistakes at critical time LOL

Romo

248-117 playoffs 8 tds 2 INts show me the critical INts hmm his td-int ratio is much better

Dak

166-65 playoffs 11-5ints

No, it's in the proven stats. He led the league in picks last year, despite missing several games.

i guess cone would have pulled some HOFer who had worse td-INT ratio..you are WRONG! Did they pull Lawrence or Josh Allen in the playoffs when they had absolutely horrible first halfs 4 turnovers bye Lawrence and three by Josh Allen in one rolled out of bounds or it would have been another one I guess we should start pulling players for backups who are clearly clearly not even in the same zip code...

It won't come down to it. But if it did, yes McCarthy would pull Dak.

This is too important of a season and he knows it.
I don’t think he has the guts to yank him. I really don’t. He’s just like Garrett in that regard.

And besides, Jerry would would not go for it. He would be afraid of crushing Dak’s confidence.

Are you expecting a Matt Schaub level collapse?
Baker Mayfield would be a better can't that you're trying to get a picture as a starter who just flat out fell on his face but Prescott's already played at a higher level for seven years now so now I'm not worried about that I don't even remember what Matt Schaub did....

Its not like that he has some one to step in and improve offense , Rush is a game manager with limited capablity.

What a loaded question lol. Dak will be the starter regardless of performance unless it’s somehow injury related
and why would he not Cooper rush is not good enough to replace Prescott on his worst day I mean people think that Troy and Roger never threw interceptions and that would be completely ignorant there are some real ignorant opinions in here as if good quarterbacks get pulled when they throw a lot of interceptions I don't see Josh Allen getting pulled hell how many games did Russell Wilson get pulled last year in he looked horrible how about you Sean Watson these dudes make more money than Prescott and they played worse at times. They don't get pulled because the backups even on their best day are not as good as the starters on their worst day. Seriously I don't get fans Prescott head 25 touchdowns and 15 interceptions and that's arguably and debatable people keep saying it's his worst year that is Troy aikman's very best year exactly that stat 25 touchdowns 15 interceptions was his best year. He literally had years where he had like 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions get 141 interceptions for career and through seventeen of those in the playoffs.. You all act like quarterbacks even the best of all time don't throw interceptions and they in fact do

He has another one of these where we were losing 30-0 at the start of the 4th Q no reason why Jerry won't give the Green light to bench the DakDeer.....

Troy had Emmitt inside the 5 otherwise, he would lead the planet and touchdown passes and ratios

This year? No chance. The only way that happens is if a very promising rookie is biding his time on the bench. So... no chance.

Dak is that bad combination of being very good when he good and very bad when he's bad.

He's like the Perseid meteor shower happening this weekend. If the skies are clear it's an awesome sight to behold. If the clouds roll in you might as well go inside and watch Hee Haw reruns.
