Lets say this Team goes 1-6 or 2-5 before the Bye and Dak continues to stink it up like he did so far. Does he get a Chance? I really liked his Talent and especially the Cannon Arm out of college but he was straight terrible in Preseason, though playing with 3rd Stringers most of the time.

If im the Coach i would do it in that Scenario. Maybe give Dak three more games (Titans, Falcons, Eagles) which are likely 3 Losses anyway?

There has to be sth Happening on the QB Position if Dak keeps this up. You cant let a QB destroy a whole Season cause he cant even make Basic throws and is afraid to even attempt a Pass 20 Yards downfield the whole game.

Bills basically let go of Peterman after the first game of this Season.
 
No.

This team rarely makes changes until injury.

Doubt Dak would of played in 16 if Moore didn't get injured.

Especially with Stephen and Jerry talking about extending Dak in the offseason.

He'll be given the year to "prove himself".

Next in line would probably be Rush if Dak got injured.
 
Cooper is next man up.

Look at the moves made and not made by the FO during the off-season. The fix was in, Tank-A-Thon 2018 is in full swing

I hope not. Mike is not ready. Could ruin him by putting him in too soon.
 
They wouldn't play Rush in a meaningless game week 17 last year (where it would have been advantageous to lose from a draft perspective). What makes you think the'd do anything but clap and trot out the same personnel and gameplan for the rest of this season?

Of course that plan might be advantageous from a draft position perspective.

The Bills dumped Peterman because they drafted a QB at 7th overall. It's an entirely different scenario. The Cowboys think Dak is the man. I don't see any way they bench him this season unless he's injured.
 
If Dak gets sit down then Rush comes in. If Rush gets sit then White is up. He didn’t look good in preseason. Has a way to go.

Hmmm - so tell us about that history of the team losing almost all its games and not switching QB's. What years were those?
 
I'm not putting this pass game completely on Dak by any means. The offensive scheme is absolutely garbage and doesn't put anyone in a real position for success.

Anyways.

If Dak keeps putting up these horrible passing numbers I think they have to give Mike White a shot.

Forget Cooper Rush. He has a noodle arm and I want a big arm that can throw the ball down field.

Mike White has a big arm and he can get the ball down field vertically.

Will he panic and throw picks? Who knows. Probably but it's worth taking a look if we keep getting nothing from the pass game.


Mike White will see favorable matchups with the 8 man fronts so it's not like he'll be throwing into heavy coverage a lot of the time and I do think he has some skill as a pure pocket passer.

And lets be honest, Allen should of been starting from the start. Peterman is a backup at best on a good day.

As we should. We have nothing behind him. And we need to see if he's ever going to come around. Let the kid play, this isn't a super bowl team.
